I booked the colonial room. The Pousada is very central on a relatively safe street. You are walking distance to the center of everything. Around many nice bars and restaurants. The interior is very special with a lot of care to reflect the colonial times....More

We spent two days there and not only the hotel is beautiful, well located, perfectly decorated, stunning views and good breakfast, but the service and staff is outstanding. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Thanks again!

You can either call Gerusa and arrange for taxi pick up (you pay directly to the driver), or you can take a taxi at the airport. Either way is safe. It's roughly a 30 minutes ride.
