The hotel was good and the views amazing! Our room was located to the swimming pool view/sea view and the views are breath taking! any time of day.. The staff was also very pleasant and kind througout our stay! In the pool area, the hotel has its own pizzaria and bar. the pizzas are fast prepared and very tasty! (ideal...

Ill start off with the one great part about this hotel....Beachfront property. The view is really nice as long as your room is facing the ocean. If it is not , then you have a view of a dozen rundown buildings in a sketchy neighborhood. The service was okay in regards to the hotel itself, but the restaurantes and outside...

Below par, not a four star hotel in any way. The only positive about this place is the location, otherwise, forget it! Room, staff, reception area, grounds and food are verging on one to two star and staff are lazy, don't smile and give attitude! Unacceptable and not recommended!

It is really nice hotel at the beach with the breathtaking see views. The rooms are very comfortable. The restaurant and bar in the swimming pool area close at 9 o'clock. But the staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. It is around one hour by bus away from the center. Wifi is working very well.

I recently spent three nights at this very charming place in Itapuã Beach. Staff are very friendly and willing to provide any help requested. A decent number of employees ensure that all guest needs are looked at. I was impressed with the security detail employed by the hotel. I was later made aware that the beach is not safe, and...

The hotel was very good, great pool and a beautiful view. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, giving tips of what to do and when to go, they rented a car for us and even gave us a lift to go out at night. Service is a bit slow, but not unusual in Salvador. Overall, a really good place...

I stopped here approx. 10 years ago when all of the British tour operators were pouring money into Brazil. I then tried to re-book two years later for my honeymoon, but all of the tour operators had pulled out!! A great country, and a great hotel, with lots of great cuisine, nice rooms, and a great location.

Location is good directly on the Itapua beach. Friendly staff. I enjoy our vacation there. For my husband this was too quet (before we have stayd 3 nights in Grande Hotel da barra in Salvador, there was always something happening when you looked to beach.) Villa da Praia is perfect for peace needing vacationers.

This hotel is very charming and cosy. Located in Pedra do Sal neighborhood, in Itapuã, you have direct access to the beach. It is not for those that want to spend majority of the time in the Historic City/downtown. It is more for those that want go visit Salvador downtown one or two days, and spend the rest of the...

We stayed at this hotel for almost 2 weeks while exploring Salvador and Bahia. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and simple. We spent many hours in the beautiful garden and by the pool while enjoying agua de coco (fresh coconut water), fried cassava with carne do sol, bacalhau balls and on Sunday the famed Feijoada. Very...

“YOU MUST ASK FOR A ROOM FACING THE SEA, for the others are a pity (you will spend all the time thinking what a nice view you missed). Better if your room is in the first or second floors, but attention: only staircases, no elevators!”
