This is a hotel and restaurant located in the heart of old town. It represents an old town in all his glory. Nice food, nice rooms a perfect way to feel and experience Trebinje in its original way. Beautiful stone structure located next to the city museum

I stayed in Trebinje for one night (on my mission to visit as many countries as I can) before heading to Montenegro. The hotel was first a bit hard to find, but after walking a bit around in the old city it was easy to find at the end of the day. The service was really nice - some of...

In April Trebinje is a very quiet place and the old town was mostly closed up and out of season - even the museum was closed for building work. A 'dead loss' of a trip was saved by a lovely lunch here - we had a sharing plate of local meats with fries and salad and all enjoyed it immensely!

Stayed in Trebinje for one night on the way to Sarajevo and chose this hotel because of the positive reviews. We weren't dissapointed as the hotel has been recently refurbished and the rooms seemed to be quite well appointed. There wasn't much choice of places to eat in Trebinje when we visited and we were glad the hotel had a...

This is a lovely hotel, in a quiet location within the walls of the old town, just a few steps from numerous bars and restaurants, and the lively town square. The hotel itself is a lovely old building and the rooms are very well appointed and very clean. It also has free car parking in the narrow street outside. The food...

Hotel Porto Bello in Trebinje is a revelation. Having travelled in the former Yugoslavia every year since 2000, I've come across a fair few hotels, apartments and B+Bs of varying price and quality, but this place was certainly the best value place I've ever come across in this part of the world. Situated inside the walls of the pretty old...

We stayed in Trebinje for one night whilst touring Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia. We came across the Portobello hotel and restaurant and decided to have a meal there. We ate outside at the back where there is a small courtyard. All the food was locally produced, free range and amazing value for money. The owner was absolutely charming and spoke...
