Wow ! The place is like a dream. An Italian village square. You sleep in one of the shop. The architecture, the design as much as all the decoration deserves a price. It is awesome and mostly handmade by the lady who co-owns the place with her husband. She did marvels with simple techniques and material. Take some time to...

This is my third time visiting El Pueblito. The cottages, the atmosphere, the weather, the food and the hosts are AMAZING! If you ever go to SAMAIPATA, this is a MUST see. Giovanni and Sandra will make sure you have a wonderful experience. I highly recommend a tracking tour of Samaipata and take a good camera, the views are breathtaking!...

My partner and I booked 3 days here before easter looking for a tranquil place to relax. Its a great find and just to walk around the square and look at the views over the town are amazing, let alone the quaint little rooms which all have a personal feel and are so beautifully decorated. This last February I and a group of friends stayed at this wonderful miniature village. The cottages all had different themes - bakery, tavern, dress shop etc and were beautifully decorated to match the name. No room numbers here! The 'town square' is an inviting place to sip a glass of wine or chat with fellow guests. The hilltop location...

After working with Habitat for Humanity on two homes in Santa Cruz, this R&R portion of our adventure was a delightful surprise. Sandra and Giovanni made us all feel at home. The creative touches to everything and variety of themes kept the team busy checking each others cottages. The scenery was beautiful, food delicious - a perfect getaway.

This was our second stay in Samaipata and we thoroughly enjoyed both. El Pueblito Resort, as the name implies, is set up like a miniature town with cabins surrounding a mini plaza with a community fire pit in the center. The fire every evening is one of the best parts of the stay. Everyone comes out to sit around and...

This is our second stay at this unique and wonderful place. Sandra and Giovanni make you so welcome it feels like a second home. It is a 2 hour car journey from hot noisy Santa Cruz but well worth it if you can make it. The air is fresh and clean as are the rooms and the atmosphere is so...

A perfect weekend break from the Heat and humidity of Santa Cruz. I actually have my own hotel in the Peruvian Andes - I am British. I love everything that Sandra & Giovani have done - and I really liked a hidden walk up the hill with ruins at the top and great views all around. Each room has its...
