IMPORTANT! 23 March 2017: Hotel is in the midst of being refurbished throughout its grounds including the main lobby. It looks to be an improvement. This is NOT a 4 or 5 star hotel - at most about 3 stars. PRO: - within 5 min of airport - spacious room - sufficient electrical sockets and lighting in room - good...

I liked this hotel, which is quiet and peaceful, exactly what you need tired upon arrival or for the night before departure early in the morning. It is clean and has what it says it has. Wi-fi was a bit flaky and the cuisine wasn't haut de gamme but dinner and breakfast was discreetly and professionally served.

I'll start by the good news: It's near the airport. It's near a Night Club (owned by the Hotel). It's half way to get out of Oran by Motorway. The bad news: It's dirty inside the rooms. Old badrooms. Only Algerian TV. There's always electricity problems. The bed is terrible and dirty. Old sheets and terrible mattress and pillow. Bad...

staff helpful; good hotel, very clean, nice welcome at the reception, navette available for the aeroport, very good breakfast, diner too, nice location in front of the aeroport, nice garden, a lot of meeting room and sports room. but, apparently they are renewing the first floor si there are some disagreements. i think that it's one of the best balance...

I stayed from March 16th till March 20th 2014 to attend the 2nd International Tourism Workshop in Oran as an expert to promote the destination. The organizers booked us in Eden Phoenix. Arrival was late night 11pm since we drove from Algiers. We were immediately greeted by the bellman which made a very good first impression after a 4 hours...

Had a big issue with the airline losing my case, but the hotel staff were really helpful. They checked with the airport several times to see if it had arrived. The hotel itself is not too bad. Rooms were nice and spacious, clean. Minor issue with the shower head holder being loose so the shower head wouldn't stay in one...

The Eden and Phoenix hotels are practically the same hotel: They are right next to each other, and have the same owner and manager. The hotels are near the airport. There is a single pint-sized pool at the Phoenix that Eden guests also can use. A colleague and I stayed at the Eden for two nights. Because we were on...

Between the airport and the city of Oran, the Hotel Phoenix is a pleasant place to stay. Rooms are pricey as in all of Algeria. Tourism is not that big a part of their economy so they have no pressure to price for tourists. Rooms were average for the price. Restaurant was good but also pricey. No internet was available...
