A very average hotel, entry is dated, carpet is worn, it just feels old. Breakfast buffet is passable. Very typical Japanese style rooms, I did have a massage chair which was a nice bonus. Walking distance to most of the little town.

We stopped at Tsuchiura on the way to Oarai Port from Tokyo, via bicycle. Check- in was painless, even without any English, and they very nicely gave our bicycles accommodation inside -- there is really nowhere nearby to park them outside. Throughout our stay, the...More

Have been her some time ago, and found the service excellent. Clean and comfortable. A very good choice for being in the city. Very good breakfast in the morning. You can choose between occidental and Japanese.

YES. You can borrow bicycle! We borrow bike every time when we stay and go to Kasumigaura Lake for fishing!
