What a wonderful B&B. We booked the Fidalgo suite, which has a large walk bathroom with both a tub and shower. The suite also has a wonderful view of the bay. We were equally impressed with breakfast, which was superb. Will definitely stay here again!

This bed and breakfast completely exceeded all of our expectations. The home was gorgeous - the hosts were so kind and accommodating - the breakfast was amazing - the house was very clean and the bed was the most comfortable bed we stayed in during our entire trip. In fact, we kept talking about how much we missed the B&B...

Our oom was quiet and in the back. Large, Comfy bed with fluffy comforter made it easy to fall asleep. The shower was wonderful, with lots of hot water and everything you could possibly need. Breakfast was healthy and filling, with yogurt, eggs, bacon and coffee. Our hosts, Mike and Nancy, were friendly and helpful. All in all, an excellent...

My wife and I stayed here the night we got married. Mike and Nancy were so accommodating and allowed us to check-in early to get ready for our wedding (which was on the ferry). We stayed in the Fidalgo Suite and it was beautiful! Comfy bed and amazing tub and shower. The entire home is very well kept as is...

We stayed on very short notice (3 hrs before check in) because of last minute changes in our travel plans due to vehicle repairs. Nancy and Mike and their little French Bulldog "Duke" are warm and welcoming innkeepers. The rooms are large and comfortable. The bathrooms are all ensuite. There are two very comfortable general seating areas for relaxing or...

The Gateway was able to take us on short notice. We liked our room with big windows overlooking the back yard. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom and storage area. Breakfast was delicious! Mike and Nancy were pleasant hosts and gave us advice for places to eat in Anacortes and background about the house and neighborhood. Thanks!

We traveled in the area without a car, and this B&B was perfect for us, as it is a rather short walk (10 minutes) from central Anacortes. Nancy and Mike are the perfect hosts who also make great breakfasts.

We stayed at the Gateway for our 20th anniversary and it completely exceeded our expectations. Mike & Nancy are the ultimate hosts to their spectacular Victorian home. They both provided perfect suggestions for things to do in the area (Washington Park) and restaurants to eat at (Rock Fish Cafe). We were greeted by them both upon arrival and they provided...

Do yourself a favor and stay at the Gateway. We spent 4 nights/5 days over the July 4th holiday weekend and it was perfect in every way. Location A stone's throw to the shore, a short walk to the heart of town, a few minutes drive to the ferry to get to the neighboring islands, a few minutes more to...

This is a very comfortable place to stay in Anacortes. The Fidalgo room was HUGE, with a deck and bay window with views of the water. It also had a luxurious bathroom with both a claw-foot tub and glass enclosed shower as well as two sinks. The innkeepers were friendly, and gave excellent advice as to restaurants and routes of...
