We stayed here one night in order to take an early morning ferry to Sidney. Check in staff was friendly. The hotel had been remodeled and grounds updated. Beautifully landscaped. The large patio area with outdoor fireplace was quite impressive. It would have been nice if they would serve breakfast at 6:30 or 6:45 to enable ferry riders to grab...

We really enjoyed this quaint hotel right near the ferry. We could park the car for the ferry line in the early morning and walk back to the hotel for complimentary breakfast. Very clean, friendly staff. They also have a little bistrot with reasonably priced good quality wine and food items. We recommend staying in an upstairs unit as part...

Hello Gailpi! I'm glad you were able to take full advantage of being so close to the ferry. It certainly makes that hectic morning rush easier. As you mentioned we have recently added a full bar and light bistro menu and are trying to keep everything very reasonable for our guests. We are actively working on sound issues in the...

This is a very nice place. Room was clean with a balcony with a view of the harbor (mostly fog). It has a sink and refrigerator, so if you are traveling with food that's handy. Breakfast is included - standard offerings plus waffle maker. Best thing is if you are going to take the car ferry to San Juan Islands...

Hello again Lorraine W, I'm happy you enjoyed the room and breakfast. Isn't the view of the fog clearing from the Puget Sound amazing? Many of our guests take advantage of the close proximity to the ferry, It's not so bad of a wait when you can come back up and have breakfast after you get your car in that...

This was an unexpected wonderful surprise. From the road, the hotel does not look like much, but once you drive down to the venue it is wonderful. There is a great patio to overlook the water with seating and heaters, plus a great lawn. All of the rooms looked to have patios. Our room had a private patio that overlooked...

Thank you for the kind response SkiB1! Many of our guests are shocked to see the grounds, with hundreds of flowers and tree's, its a great spot to get some peaceful relaxation without the hustle and bustle than can be a problem in some hotels. All rooms (except our economy room) have water views and their own patio or balcony. We...

Salutations LynninWashington, I completely agree with you the Anacortes scenery is simply awe inspiring. Many of our guests find they like to take an extra day and stay here on their return from the San Juan Islands before continuing on to Sea-Tac or their final destinations. I hope to see you on the return trip as well!

We were scheduled for an early ferry departure and Ship Harbor Inn, true to its name, is perfectly situated to get to the ferry on time. The view was beautiful and the room quite clean. I left my contoured pillow (not a cheap pillow) in the room. We emailed them and they said they would mail it to my home...

Hi Lynette C! Catching those early ferries can be quite the scramble, at least you were close to it. I'm happy you were able to catch your ferry and elated we were able to get your pillow back to you! I hope we see you in your future travels.

If you wish to catch the early morning ship, And you don't mind the shape of the bill, It's the perfect place. The people were friendly, breakfast was good, rooms were clean with nice views, however the prices are steep in high season. We very much enjoyed the proximity to the ferry.
