We stayed one night in the Paine room which was nicely appointed. The claw-foot tubs can be a challenge for seniors, but we managed. The waffles with fresh peaches was excellent. the home Is one block off of US 30 which is convenient.

We visit on the 4th and it was great. The innkeeper was very nice and helpful. We sat in the enclosed breaksfast porch and had 180 degrees of fireworks. Went downtown and ate at Duffys. The bread bowl with clam chowder was very tasty.

We had visions of a house overlooking the harbor but the name is misleading as you can barely see a sliver of the harbor in the distance. Parking is on a steep side street. The Paine room should be avoided e.g. shower is in the...More
