Nice location, walkable to everything in Ballston area. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast and Lounge access as a Diamond was high quality, no complaints. When in the area this is our go-to hotel. Parking is all around, so that is not an issue. No negatives here, all around quality property.
Great location, friendly staff and a very clean environment. The on-site amenities are fantastic, and the hotel is situated near many eateries and social gathering places. When I have to travel to the District area I will definitely book my stay here.
This place is great for visiting the DC/Arlington Area. Next to the metro station. A lot of eateries. Microwave and Fridge in the room. The food at the restaurants was great. The Salmon/Ribeye was great. The breakfast and lounge was outstanding. WIll be back again. Clean rooms!!!!!!
We arrived late at night and were welcomed by the staff. The room was very clean, and thanks to being a smoke-free and pet-free hotel, smelled great as well! The bed, sheets and pillows were very comfortable and the room was quiet (after we turned the AC off). There was construction across the street, but they weren't doing loud things that night/day, so we don't know if it would have been loud/disturbing, but we didn't hear any other street noise despite the hotel being in a busy/convenient location right above the Metro station.
Great hotel for an outdoor event. It’s like a huge Lobby but covered. Last year I had my outdoor wedding and reception on grass because people did not want to be in a closed area. I wish I had known about this. We had 175 at our family reunion.
I stayed here July 15 -18th,2022 for a family reunion. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast bar was excellent. The staff at the front desk and the staff in the dining area was more than accommodating. The chef personally visited our family to ensure we were satisfied with the meals. This is the cleanest hotel I have been in a while. The hotel is centrally located to shopping and dining restaurants.
If you are a Hilton Honors Diamond member, be forewarned that you do NOT get the daily F&B credit as described in the Hilton benefits page. Also check the HVAC in your room prior to unpacking. Our room initially was at 76 and moved up to 78 while the thermostat was set in the low 60's when we walked in.
This hotel in Ballston Square is right above the Ballston Metro station, yet also offers parking. It's walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and stores, including a Macy's, which came in handy when my husband's belt suddenly broke. The rooms are clean and offer what you'd expect, though I look forward to the day when U.S. hotels will get rid of their noisy heating/cooling units and replace them with mini-split ductless units that are nearly silent.
I enjoyed the location of this property. I have stayed at other hotels in the area and this one was convenient to local shops and restaurants. The parking situation was adequate and fairly priced. This was my first time at this location and to stay on the executive floor, which offered no additional fringe benefits. There were not even bottled waters available in the room. The shower was exceptional and the bedding very comfortable. However, I was very disappointed in the size of the room and the very uncomfortable lounge chair that was in the room. Needless to say, I ended up having to use the bed for reading and computer work. It was not a very good choice of seating. I was very pleased that the air conditioner worked very well and kept the room very comfortable and cool.…
I travel a lot with my job (I’m in the events and hospitality business). My corporate booking company made the booking for me as the hotel is close to my company’s office here in Arlington. The hotel website states that there is room service available; there isn’t. It’s a grab and go service from the onsite restaurant called Dan & Brads. After a full day of traveling, I was looking forward to relaxing with some room service…..sadly that wasn’t the case. Even calling through to Dan & Brad’s is a challenge as there’s no response. I called down to Guest Services to ask to be transferred to the service, only to be told that the restaurant was busy and that I’d have to come down to place my order. So off I went, expecting to have to queue to place my order….only to be greeted by silence and an empty restaurant. I do not like being lied to. I will not be recommending this hotel in future to my colleagues or event attendees.…
