Their website is just absolute propaganda. First the evening clerk was just downright rude and spoke down to me when I asked him several questions. Next in just blatant false advertising they show a coffee station which they do not have. When I asked the evening clerk about it his response was his is not a hotel. There was no hair dryers in the room nor hangers for your clothes. The bathroom wall had a hole in the wall and the shower rod was rusty and ready to fall. Several times the power went off and we had to call the hotel phone number (the room phone didn't work) o get it reset. They also had no iron available o use We had o buy one. Also he floors were uneven So do not go by their website when looking Gor a place. Oh and the clock radio didn't work
This place is beyond disgusting. Do not let the photos fool you. We cringed the entire time we were there. With the air conditioning blasting it was still humid and sticky in the room. The carpet was disgusting, the bathroom was disgusting, the beds reminded me of the beds in the 80s, the room looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned in a decade. Spend a little extra money and get a different place. I travel the world, and have no clue how this crap hole is still in business!
I booked for a place to sleep while passing through town and I was very underwhelmed. First off they have smoking and non smoking rooms, which was so off putting because even in the non smoking all you can smell is cigarette smoke. Secondly, counters in the “non smoking” room were burned as though clearly someone left a lit cigarette there. And thirdly the amount of very concerning individuals eyeing my car, and standing around at the check in desk was unsettling. There are signs everywhere to wear masks yet many guests didn’t. Also upon entering the room there were stains on the sheets and long hair strands in multiple areas. Overall I just couldn’t even bear to stay and I am not a person who is high maintenance, but if you are looking for comfort, feeling safe and even just a midrange quality, don’t stay here. They were trying to be accommodating and offered to change my room, but at that point I was so creeped out.…
My hotel room had visible black mold all over the wall. The carpet was dirty. The boxspring was soiled and stained. The bathroom tiles on the floor were falling out. When I checked in I asked how I could check out as soon as possible and not complete my entire reservation. They said that all I had to do was give them the key the next morning and I would get a refund with no problems. The next morning their maintenance staff was banging on my door. I asked them to go away and leave me alone. These two men continued to state that I had requested maintenance and they had to come in. I did not request maintenance and there was nothing urgent that they would need to do to my room. I felt very unsafe as a woman traveling alone. Today I checked my credit card and they had charged me for a seven day stay when I had given them more than 24 hours to let them know that I would be checking out the very next day.…
I suspect that this hotel is managed by some good folks - but the facility is lacking! It was not especially clean (with mold in the bathroom (on the shower curtain, and elsewhere). The "breakfast" included coffee/tea, bananas, apples, and some yogurt (which also had mold!). On the other hand, the people at the reception desk were very friendly. Sorry, but I will not return.
Over all its OK. But I have to agree with some of the reviews. The bathroom couldve been a little cleaner, The noise does travel between rooms. the property was overall pretty clean and the staff was very kind. the location is good. The price is good. But next time I will pay a little more.If you looking to save money its Ok.
Clean rooms, great staff, perfect location (use Uber to get to DC, cheap and fast), awesome restaurants nearby, staff had great suggestions on food and sights to see! Can’t wait to get back to DC, your hotel will be my first choice for my stay!
Old Outdated Motel We took the first room in the second floor above the management office. This is the best room they have. Surprise: You will hear doors banging all night and day. you are next o the floor main door entrances. and it is noisy. The breakfast is the biggest Joke \ Teaser. Old coffee, apples and bread!!
Yes, you get what you pay for as others have said. The good news: inexpensive, decent bedding, fairly quiet and close to the bus stops to and from Rosalyn Station. The bad news: very steep incline into parking lot, no elevator (rooms are on second floor), the wifi is so slow their guide even says "not for video services", no ESPN channel, the lights/plugs in our bathroom would require hitting breaker "reset" button a lot, the breakfast is, in a word, awful.
We found this place online and were looking for an inexpensive room for the night. We were leaving DC the next morning. We wanted something close to Arlington National Cemetery. We got to the hotel and there is a huge incline to the driveway. This may be difficult for older people. When we check in the front desk person is not friendly but not rude. There is no elevator so we dragged our luggage up the steps to the room. Now we were told to insert the key and lift up on the door handle. We did this several times until we found the “secret”. The halls were filled with bags of furry laundry (it appears they were still working on rooms). The room was clean. The tile floors in the bathroom were old and dirty. The hinges on the bathroom door were rusty. The water pressure in the shower was nice. Decent room at a good price. But if staying for an extended amount of time you may want to try somewhere else. …
