After reading some of the reviews on here I wasn't to excited to stay here but I figured for the price it was worth it upose to paying 300$ per night in DC. All I have to say is how wrong the reviews were that talked negative , i was given a perfect little room that slept both me and...

This is a small family run motel in Arlington, it is an older motel, but the rooms have been updated, they are spacious and the bathroom had a large walk in shower which was modern, the shower head had great pressure. The staff were friendly and helpful and they recommended places to eat. The motel is about a 8 minute...

We had relatives coming to town and once again turned to this fine neighborhood motel to provide extra rooms. The upgraded cozy bedding and spotlessly clean bathrooms made everyone happy and comfortable. A small problem with one of the rooms was solved promptly and pleasantly. We recommend this hidden gem to everyone!

This is not a four star hotel. It is four stars because of what I needed it for. This hotel reminds me of the ones me and my family would stop at along the highway when I was a kid taking a trip. It is an older hotel and is no frills, but if you are looking for a close...

Although the motel is an older property, it had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. There are lots of great places to eat within walking distance. Enjoy.

We chose the Highlander because of the proximity to Arlington National Cemetery. The motel was dated, but clean. Our room on the back side of the motel was comfortable and quiet. The staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was adequate. Overall a reasonable place to stay.

The rate was reasonable and the location was good because of the access to the Metro. Had to purchase super glue to repair nightstand drawer and sliding door towel bar for the shower. Also, had to reassemble the lamp assembly next to the desk. Other than that the room was OK. The neighborhood was fairly safe and quiet the week...

Just as the reviews said, the room was clean and the people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The motel is 5 minutes walk from the metro station, very convenient to go to downtown where traffic is terrible and parking is expensive. Close to restaurants and shopping center. Very nice and safe neighborhood. Will definitely go back if...

This is the cheapest decent motel that is close to the metro and to D.C. that offers free parking. The room was clean and the continental breakfast adequate. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. It is close to a few budget restaurants. There is a 7-11 down the street. The only thing that some people may not like is that the...

I was in town for a night to view the cherry blossoms in Washington DC. Hotels in DC area were not very affordable, but we hit the jackpot with Highlander motel. The sheets were washed but not the cleanest - other than that it was great! The breakfast was a basic croissant-bagel-toast-jelly-butter-coffee-cookie-kind, but was reasonable good. The neighborhood is really...
