We booked this room due to late airline arrival and needed a bed closet Reagan International. We were fortunate to get a decent rate. We were disappointed to learn that the last shuttle to the hotel was 11:45 pm. Our plane arrived at 11:30, so we had to find our own transportion which partially defeated our reason for staying here. Had we rented a car, it is $40 per night. The room itself was very nice, clean and the bed comfortable. Desk check in was friendly. While there was a small food kiosk, as with many high-end hotels, prices are not posted. For these reasons I can't give a 5.

I booked through Hotel.com, and on reviewing my reservation, I noticed they charge $32 per night parking fee. $76 to sleep there and $32 for your car??? So, I tried to contact the hotel and ask them about it. Over 30 minutes on the phone and STILL NOBODY PICKS UP. They have you on hold FOREVER. Called Marriott main number and same situation. EVERYTHING IS AUTOMATED. Cannot connect with a human being to discuss anything.

Stay Report - 10/18 to 10/19 Location: The hotel is at the extreme south end of the DCA Airport Hotels located parallel to the Renaissance just south of the Hyatt Regency.  It's a block east of US 1 but right next to the access road to DCA so it's a really quick drive to get back there.  You can walk to a few restaurants and the Crystal City Metro Station is under a mile away.  Hotel: The hotel is a multi story high rise and very un-CY like.  It has an attached underground parking garage with parking at $25 a day for hotel guests.  There's a good size lobby with a small pantry as well.  Thankfully no waits for elevators.  There's also a fitness center on the 2nd floor. Check In: The agent working was very friendly and helpful, thanked me for being Titanium, offered a $10 F&B credit or points and said she upgraded me. Room: The upgrade was to a "Deluxe" room which I think just means higher floor.  It was a very nice room on the 15th floor with nice designs and a really nice bathroom.  There were power outlets near the bed, noise wasn't an issue and the Wifi worked well.   Overall a good airport stay.  I'd happily be back.

Two night stay party of 35 for military funeral at Arlington National cemetery. Excellent front desk staff gave me the top floor as requested with a 2pm arrival. The majority of the staff here was extremely friendly and professional. Large clean room. Hall noise but no wall noise. A/c powerful but a bit noisy. Great tv with Netflix. No problem with Wifi. Bathroom had great hot water and large well lit mirror but TP holder was located awkwardly far from reach. Also only one towel bar was located in shower. No hand towel or face cloth bar. Housekeeping were very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast menu are limited. Dining staff very friendly and efficient. Food overall was very good. Short ribs entree was excellent. Free airport shuttle was convenient. Small sundry shop in lobby for water, snacks, atm. Overall I would absolutely stay here again.

I've stayed here several times now, and while I like this Courtyard well enough overall, I'm docking it two points for a couple of basic things it needs to improve pronto: analog-only TV and (very) slow wifi. The TVs in the rooms I've stayed in here over the last 2 years have all been recent-gen, big LGs - but no HD channels or streaming networks (e.g. Netflix) whatsoever. That's a pretty big tech miss for an airport hotel adjacent to Washington, DC. And the wifi - it was in the low single digits (of MBPS) throughout my most recent stay, during which I called the front desk to ask what the story was. The person I spoke with apologized for both tech misses and added, "Yeah; that's all we have in the way of TV and wifi at this property at present." Note to corporate: upgrade your in-room and wifi tech! Otherwise, I like this Courtyard, and I was upgraded to a "premium" upper-floor room for my two most recent stays. For the stay before that (early summer), I took advantage of a cheap package rate that included the excellent hotel garage parking for an extra $5/night. (It usually costs $25/night.) The rooms are nice, updated and clean, with comfy beds, spacious living/sitting area and decor that's a bit spiffier than that in older Courtyards. So, 3/5 - a (barely) passing grade, but I'll hold off on staying again until this Courtyard ups its TV and wifi game.

Shuttle from DCA to the hotel. Nice property, clean rooms, plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. I have probably stayed in the majority of the nicer per-diem hotels in Crystal City, and no complaints about this one, only positive statements. My room was overlooking a parking lot, but since I was only there one night, it didn't bother me, and I wasn't in the room that long.

I am so glad to have seen these reviews in advance, and booked a room at the Courtyard Arlington Crystal City/Reagan National Airport. The hotel is really close to the DCA airport, and airport shuttle is available every 30 minutes. I would highly recommend that you check with the front desk about the shuttle schedule, and attempt to be downstairs five to ten minutes before the scheduled departure to get a seat. Their premium rooms are truly worth it, and bathrooms are top notch compared to other Courtyard Marriott hotels that I have stayed in the past. The only thing that I didn't notice in the hotel room was a sofa bed, based on the room type description, but it still worked out for us at the end. Special thanks to Sarah, who helped me with a situation at the end of the stay. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back when I have to travel from DCA.

The front desk was the friendliest and most helpful of anywhere I have ever stayed. They have an airport shuttle and it is within walking distance of a couple dozen places to eat. The upgraded room was clean and looked recently renovated. There are many hotels on the block, but I would stay here again.

My fiancé and i checked in for a weekend stay-cation so he could be close to work but we could still be out of the house. All in all it was a nice weekend. Didn’t come with any perks and we didn’t think small double beds that were a little uncomfortable. There wasn’t any breakfast and we paid $20 per night for parking. We have definitely stayed in more comfortable hotels with more perks but i guess it was okay for it to be a last minute idea. we did have outlets getting out of the parking loot every time we exited .Next time we will plan a better get a way.
