The room, when we got there, was missing the TV remote, soap, coffee cups and towels. The desk clerk was able to give us the soap and cups, but told us he'd have to have housekeeping give us towels (no one ever did), and the only solution to the missing TV remote was a new room, one flight up from the one we were given, after we'd already dragged our suitcases up to the second floor (no elevators). The underside of the toilet seat had brown stains. And the TV (we used the manual controls) had few working channels. The only reason this isn't one star is because the desk clerk was nice enough to print out some tickets for us from our e-mail.
The desk staff was rude and every time you call the desk the person is eating and promises a quick turnaround ( not likely). The Maintenance Team is really unsanitary the rooms are dusty and unswept and usually not mopped so allergy sufferers beware. The tubs are filthy and roaches are a real problem. All the plugs are broken except where the lamp is and they refuse to switch the rooms once you check in. They use the same towels as “mops” that they give to guests for bathing and I have witnessed it on many occasions. The environment is really unsafe and no one on the hotel staff speaks English well (or at least pretends not to). You have to bring your own tissue because housekeeping apparently doesn’t provide it at all (again I’ve witnessed it many times and finally gave in and bought my own). And if you need fresh linens and towels good luck getting them in a prompt manner. On two separate occasions my room had no cleans sheets or towels for 6 hours. Literally not an exaggeration it took 6 hours to get fresh linens! Apparently they take your old ones and just rewash them so you have to wait until they’re good and ready to give you anything. Again don’t stay here if you have another choice.…
This was a last minute choice to stay in town one more day and I won't go back or recommend this place to anyone else. The credit card machine was down and they would only take cash and the rooms were in need of fumigation because of insects. The front office staff was less than helpful and cooperative.
From the outside the place looked nice, but the rooms left something to be desired. Our room had a king size bed with a double headboard. Bed was not all that comfortable. The place was being renovated. The dumpster around on the backside was full of old items and boxes for the new. We were on the third floor, but on the first floor several rooms had parties going on.
Do not stay here. It’s filthy. People partying outside our room both nights. A fight broke out too. Wanted to call the police. Almost called the office but didn’t want to be noticed because they were right outside our room! Rooms are awful, beds were nasty, shower flooded the floor. We were supposed to stay 3 nights but only stayed 2 nights. We couldn’t take anymore. Do not stay here.
