We stayed at this recently renovated Comfort Inn for 3 nights in April. We had a room with a comfortable king bed and a walk in shower with one handicap bar. The shower had good water pressure. The room had a refrigerator without a freezer but the front desk staff agreed to put my blue ice in their freezer. This is an elevator building. There are 3 steps down to the breakfast room and a small lift for those who can't do stairs. I did not try this lift. The staff members were helpful.

Stayed here for one night before leaving early the next morning to run a race in the city. Super conveniently located right off the highway. Room was nice, although it felt like a lot of the bathroom got looked over in the remodel (shower looked worse for wear, but I appreciated the backlit mirror). They did offer free breakfast, but left too early to check it out. Overall, a much nicer Comfort Inn than many I've stayed at. Only thing that annoyed me was my check in experience: I asked about late check out if need be and was told there would be a charge for every hour (which should not be the case, as a rewards member).

I love this little hotel. It is close to the metro for getting around Washington. The staff were superb. The room was very clean and up to date. It is not a fancy place but it is a lovely place to spend the night. Comfortable, quiet, and safe.

A hotel experience, I would rate as "near perfect". Clean, safe, quiet, superb design 2 room suite, terrific location (5-6 minutes to the center of Old Town), incredible front desk staff (thanks Emily), and affordable, all adding up to make it the best Comfort Suites in the country. I can say this with confidence as a long time "Choice Hotels" diamond member.

This place is right off the Beltway, so it's convenient. Unfortunately, it's not close to anything that you can walk to. Room was fine and the breakfast was ok. The gym was under construction, so I wasn't able to work out. Good if you just need to stay a few nights.

Very disappointed with the management and ownership of this particular hotel. We have stayed at this hotel several times over the past several years. Typically we were pleased with the experience. However, this past Christmas 2019 while staying at the hotel, the Ptac (AC unit) in our room caught fire. While having dinner with my 95 year old mother we received a call from the fire department telling us our room was on fire! Now, forward virtually 6 weeks later and we still have not gotten anything from the hotel. The hotel had their Public Adjuster in touch with us who tells us to file with our insurance company. Why should I? Even reaching out to Choice Hotels corporate has fallen on deaf ears. Choice has not responded at all.

Would have been nice to know fitness center was closed due to construction, also if you're located in an area known for tourism don't you think you could move tourist information somewhere accessable during said construction. Also if you call down to the front desk about noise in the hallway at three thirty in the morning that ceases the minute you hang up the phone you don't expect to get a snotty phone call back from the front desk because they had to get up off their butt to do their job. Other than that room was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok but not great. All in all it was decent place to stay but I would probably look elsewhere if I returned to the area

This hotel is like something out of a Live PD episode. First I noticed the location, you hear trucks all night long zooming by. When walking in, the carpets were stained, the buttons on the elevator were soiled and filthy. When I opened the door to the room, there was an odor of ":dead people" as my daughter said. The pressure on the shower was a trickle. When we entered the "breakfast room" I thought we were entering a jail cafeteria. I felt very uncomfortable. The food was terrible. The juices were coming out water, there were no eggs left, the bacon was rubber...I could go on. I would NEVER stay there again. My children were actually scared. Oh, and the alarm clock was sticky and didn't work.

We booked this hotel after reading reviews and considering location and price. We stayed from Sunday night October 20 and checked out today. Every hotel employee was friendly and extremely kind & helpful. They guided us on using Metro Rail, and helped us navigate our trip destinations. Rochelle, Mo and Emily went above and beyond with any questions or requests we had. Khaleel, the shuttle van driver was full of helpful suggestions and was always ready to drop us off or pick us up at Van Dorn Metro station. We had a King suite, clean and large rooms with 1.5 baths. While the entire hotel needs renovation and updating, everything was well cared for. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices each morning. The kitchen crew did a fantastic job. We also enjoyed being able to purchase treats near the desk/lobby. We used the washer and dryer on two occasions on the second floor. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed this property and highly recommend it to travelers.

Good spot to stay for trips to Washington, good prices for staying near to the centre. The hotel will drop you to the metro and collect you in the evening on your return. Plenty to eat for breakfast, but can get busy, difficult to get seats. Lady in the dining area was so helpful and friendly, pointing out to us Europeans how to make the waffles etc, where everything was, cleaning tables constantly. Bed's were clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.
