We checked in to this hotel for the first time for a wedding in town. Nancy greeted us at the front desk and was so friendly and helpful about all the hotel amenities. The room was beyond our expectation. A fridge, sink and dishwasher to boot! Did not expect that. Nancy was again there in the morning for breakfast, cleaning tables and greeting guests. So friendly for so early in the morning! haha The food was delicious, and the chipped beef on soft-as-heck biscuits were off the hook. The servers were there keeping things clean where food was served... so many items to choose from. We left our room key in the room when we left and found out we needed it to access the parking garage. Nancy immediately gave me another key for that with out a blink of an eye! I would definitely visit this Resident Inn again, or choose one at another location. Best customer service ever!…
The hotel was extremely nice the restaurant trademark had the most wonderful breakfast! The rooms were large and spacious the bathroom was very clean! My one complaint was they did not have a swimming pool!🤦🏽♀️ It was across from the courthouse and every day I look for someone very important to come out!
Excellent service particularly Kamika during check in and subsequent questions - good location / walk to King street and convenient to business districts and other sightseeing in and around Alexandria - parking steep at $40 but otherwise highly recommend
Work brings me to Alexandria every month or so. I have been to all the options across the big chains (Marriott and Hilton) and absolutely nothing compares to the Residence Inn on Duke. It has become my go-to for all future stays. - Friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcomed (downtown DC hotels could learn a thing or two) - Excellent hot breakfast - Clean, spacious rooms with well-maintained kitchens - 5 minute walk from the metro Not much else one could ask for!
Extremely clean, very accommodating and friendly staff, excellent breakfast with large variety of choices. Only a couple of blocks to the Metrorail which we used to get into and back out of DC, and I would strongly recommend this! Also within walking distance of several restaurants and shops in Old Town Alexandria. Felt safe as well. On-site parking for $40 daily was awesome, as we didn’t have to move our vehicle 3 days while we were there. Whole Foods within a block or two for snacks. We definitely weren’t prepared for the amount of walking that we did around DC. I think we could have utilized the Metro even better than we did, as there are different colored lines. Blue and yellow lines are strategic for right around the heart of DC. Definitely worth it, and not costly for a 3 day pass.…
