I stayed here for right at one month. The staff is absolutely amazing. They take the extra steps to make things right. The room I was in was recently updated and very clean. The housekeeping staff did a truly great job every single time they cleaned. The next time I am staying in this location, this will be my go to hotel.
Quiet and clean hotel. My only pet-peeve is when we arrived there was no one manning the front desk and we had to wait 10 minutes. The room is spacious, clean comes equipped with a kitchenette complete with dish washer, and crockery set. Ideal for a family with children. Hotel is a stone throw away from George Washington Mt Vernon. Hotel is close to many restaurants along the main road. We were here to visit George Washington Mt Vernon home and stayed one night before proceeding to Charlottesville to visit the homes of Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe and James Madison. Hot buffet breakfast is good.
We really enjoyed staying at the TownePlace Suites. Nice rooms, plenty of space, and well located for travel. Places to eat all around and staff were great. Would recommend for anyone needing an extended stay in the Belvoir area.
I was traveling with my pets and every hotel in DC wanted a $150 non refundable payment. I have been paying $40-50 at other Marriotts, & couldn't justify that cost. I found TownePlace and was slightly worried because I only like to stay in full service hotels. I arrived at 130pm and they let me check in early. The room was perfect; very clean and well appointed. I had to do a lot of work and loved the tray table and the moveable desk table (it's the small things). The staff was really nice; I only had one towel and called the desk. A little while later, they showed up with freshly laundered warm towels. Also, the internet is free. The bed and pillows were comfortable as well. If I do another marathon travel, I will definitely stay here. This is proximal to DC and was a very nice surprise.…
Me and my family stayed here from June 2019 - December 2019, for those six months I dreaded being inside of a hotel for six months with family because of the small space. However, the staff here made it all bearable, from Taylor’s kindness and cute newborn, to the friendly manager Janel they made it feel like home for us. However, the biggest props go out to Nina, who ran the kitchen at first, then graduated to the front desk. I can call her extended family now, the nicest service I have ever received at a hotel. I will forever be grateful, for how they treated me and my family. Merry Christmas xoxo, ~ Isaiah Patillo ❤️
