My wife and I just spent four glorious nights at the Inn on Town Creek in Abingdon, Va.. We stayed in the Hideaway Room. The house and grounds (all 4 acres) are absolutely marvelous. Make sure to check out the Redwood tree on the premises. We were treated very well and the breakfasts were outstanding. The furnishings in the house...

Maybe the best B&B we've ever stayed in. The owner and staff did a fine job of making us welcome. Our room was interesting and comfortable with lots of high-quality antiques and both a bath and a shower. The room was both cheerful and spotlessly clean. We had an early shuttle appointment for The Virginia Creeper Bike Trail, so the...

We stayed here one night. The room and house was very clean and breakfast was very good. Would stay again if we are in the area.

My girlfriend and I stayed for one night very recently, we chose the Terrace Side room with the huge king size bed. We loved it! The room itself was charming and comfortable, the atmosphere was calm and very quiet (although we were the only guests staying that night so we had the inn to ourselves). A nice feature was the...

Linda was a very gracious hostess and her breakfast was delicious. That being said, choose your room wisely when booking. We stayed in the "Hide Away" because of the twin beds for my teen daughters and the king for us. The latter was like sleeping on a counter top. I know there is such a thing as "firm" mattress" but...

My husband said it best , I think--we were afforded true southern hospitality at the Inn on Town Creek. We've visited many b and b destinations; this one exceeded all expectations. Our suite including a full kitchen and gorgeous slate floors was perfect for us and our extended family of two beloved dogs. The lawn and plantings are impeccably kept;...

My sister and I were on a 3-day get-away just to relax and be together in a cool, mountain town with historic significance and to attend the Barter Theater and, for me specifically, to check out the Virginia Creeper Trail for a future "do". The Inn on Town Creek offered exactly what we wanted -- a block off the main...

We arrived and were greeted by owner Linda Neal, a short tour was given and we were shown to our room. Which was spacious with a full bath. The room and home were very clean and appointed with many antiques. The grounds were gorgeous, with many different pines, century old trees, a rock garden and beautiful flowers. We met Dean,...

We stayed two nights at the Inn on Town Creek with our two children (11 and 13), my wife's two brothers, and her older brother's wife. It was great — a beatiful home on gorgeous grounds, all meticulously maintained and graciously run. The "Hideway" room upstairs was perfect for us, with a very comfortable king-sized bed for us and twin...

My wife and I took our son and his wife to Abingdon for a weekend of calm healing. This inn was all and even more that we desired. The home and spacious gardens greeted us with peace and beauty. Yet, we were only a few blocks from the hustle and excitement of a busy tourist community. We left with grateful...
