Great place for an overnight stay. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and more spacious than most of the bigger chain hotels. There is a great view to the East and there are lawn chairs outside to sit and enjoy the air. There are a multitude of places to eat very close and the service was friendly. It had a very comfortable feeling and the rate was very reasonable.

It wasn’t the Best by any means nor was it the Worst. It was Clean and Very Spacious, which was fine for our needs. Don’t expect much it is a very budget hotel but we did feel safe. I did have to ask for toilet paper though.

Exactly 12 inches of toilet paper in the bathroom. Thanks goodness for the tissues! Sink stopper broken. A chair was broken. And the bottom of some of the door moulding looks rotten. The AC was either on frigid or hot. Otherwise it was okay. It's surrounded by trees and they give you a chair to sit outside which was nice. I was disappointed.

If you don't want to spend a lot on overnight stay, this is the place for you. You have a choice of no smoking or smoking rooms. We had two queen beds with microwave and refrigerator. Large open space and limited television channels. We paid $66 plus tax. Plan on buying breakfast somewhere. For the value it would be hard to beat. We have several times over the years and plan to again. Right off exit 19 of I-81 Abingdon, VA. Call 1-276-628-3178.

If you need a place to stay in Abingdon, this would be my first choice. If you want to save a few bucks by staying in an older (but super clean and well-maintained) motel, this is the place. ENORMOUS rooms compared to nearly every other motel I've ever stayed in. And the view of the mountains is pretty awesome, especially considering how close it is to the interstate and all its nearby development.
