About

#3 of 240 hotels in Austin
Travellers' Choice
Austin is unapologetically original and wonderfully winsome — Texas’ capital city manages to be both rowdy and refined. In Domain NORTHSIDE, the eight-story boutique Archer Hotel Austin fits right in with rustic-luxe guest rooms that have five-star bedding, nightly turndown treats and a complimentary in-room Nespresso® coffee experience, plus an enviable patio culture and no shortage of sincere Southern hospitality. Joining Archer is the acclaimed Second Bar + Kitchen restaurant and celebrated chef David Bull, who oversees all culinary experiences for guests who choose to celebrate or meet at Archer Austin. It's part of the exciting expansion of The Domain, an exclusive fashion and culinary destination in northwest Austin. It’s slated to feature more than 220 retailers and restaurants, including Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, RH Gallery from Restoration Hardware and the new energetic Rock Rose district with a mix of homegrown shops, dining and Viva Day Spa — all just steps from Archer.

We stayed at Archer to celebrate our best friend finishing her last round of chemo. While she still has a journey ahead, this was a big milestone. From start to finish, the team at Archer made every detail perfect ... including surprising us with celebratory cupcakes and champagne. The front desk team helped us hide surprises... and the valet guys were awesome helping us lug around decor and suitcases. Everyone was welcoming and our room was flawless. Julian was the absolute best at orchestrating a perfect night away. Thank you, Archer!!! We left refreshed and our spirits revived.

The Atcher at the Domain in Austin is our go-to staycation venue! We absolutely love it here, from the moment we arrive up until the end...actually, the journey begins even before we arrive. We always receive a text from the Archer welcoming us and asking if there is anything we need to make our stay special. Usually, we are celebrating a birthday, at least this time we did for my husband's 50th! They had some Sprinkles cupcakes and a warm birthday note when we entered our room, it was a nice touch! The service is great, the pool is never too crowded and drinks and food are always readily available to order! The rooms are also great - clean, nice design, bathroom ameneties are excellent! And -- it's always nice waking up the next morning and having a perfect Sunday brunch at the Second Bar and Kitchen.

No air circulation in the rooms, the AC barely worked. Loud music blasting until 2 am from the bars six floors down so loud we could hear every word. Got up at 5 am left and drove back home (8 hours) it was so unbearable. If you have to stay north of Austin for something it’s alright but I wouldn’t pick it over most other options available in town.

adasS7299ZN, We appreciate you taking some time to review your stay with us in Austin. I'm disappointed to hear our team was unable to rectify the HVAC issues you experienced within your guestroom and apologize noise from Rock Rose's entertainment district was so disruptive to your stay. Our location next to dining, shopping and nightlife certainly has it's perks and at times, challenges. Should your schedule allow, I would love the opportunity to connect with you directly regarding your stay. It is my hope you give us the opportunity to serve you again. Best, Meredith McIsaac, Assistant General Manager

Beginning to end the staff at The Archer Hotel in Austin were kind, helpful, thoughtful, organized, and professional. They genuinely cared during the six months of planning our welcome party and the events surrounding our son’s wedding. We are so grateful to the entire staff for making the weekend truly a weekend to remember!!
