The people here are very friendly and helpful. The sites are nice and shaded for the most part. The parking spaces are gravel/dirt with grass in between. All have some kind of picnic bench, although some of the concrete tables are closer to the neighbor's RV than to your own. Nice bath and rec room building... wish it had a... More

Lost Alaskan RV Park was very clean, pull thrus were nice and wide and had all hookups and amenities. Very quiet. Pool, very clean laundry area, lots of shade. We rented a car from Alpine Rentals, and drove to all the attractions, Marfa, Big Bend Nation Park, Fort Davis and The McDonald Observatory. Really enjoyed the area

The Lost Alaskan RV Park in Alpine, Texas is by far one of the best if not the best RV park in Alpine and the surrounding areas. We stayed here 2 nights and have absolutely no complaints. The shower/restroom facilities are very well kept. The sites are very well maintained and level. The swimming pool was extremely clean. I'll be... More

Lost Alaskan was recommended to us from people we met in Big Bend as a nice, clean RV park. We were only there for one night. It was a little pricey since they made us pay for an additional adult and two grandchildren. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the pull-in sites were level with easy to get to... More

This is a nice park with gravel roads and pads. Our site was nice and level with a good size tree. We were right next to the restrooms, laundry, and clubhouse. There are many trees in the park. Full hook up including cable TV and WIFI. All worked very well. The sites also have grass and cement pick nick tables.... More

Hook-ups, clean campsites and restrooms, great doggie area and close to grocery store, hardware store, restaurants, gas stations and most importantly Marfa art. This campground had easy pull-through spots with picnic tables. No shade from the sun however. We didn't want to pull our trailer the 400 miles to San Antonio for Fiesta and were able to leave it in... More

Great sites and have someone to lead you into it. Super staff member Cindy gave us day trips for Big Bend National Park. Nice dog park conveniently located. So many parks put them far away. Each site is pull through and 90 ft long. Pictures of back of park and across street.

This park is very close to the center of Alpine which boasts some damn good restaurants, bars and shops. We're in a larger fifth wheel and have plenty of room to drive around. Easy pull thru. We've visited about 3 times now. There are some long term residents that have moved in over the past couple of years and are... More

We stayed here as a base camp to explore Big Bend area, McDonald Observatory, Marfa lights, etc. Sites are flat and plenty big. Had the basics we need (50 amp electric, water and sewer), wifi is decent for an RV park, and restrooms were clean. No complaints and will stay here again.

“Spend the extra and get the sites with pavement under the picnic tables--aka deluxe sites. Don't follow GPS. It is just off of FM 118 north of town. Plan two full days for driving tours of Big Bend NP and Big Bend Ranch. Three days if you want to see ghost towns!”
