About
Description
Hotel Aiken is the perfect place to "play & stay" in downtown Aiken! Originally built in 1898 the main building of the Hotel Aiken has gone through many changes and a series of major and continuous More renovations since 2001, with the accent on retaining the historical feel of this landmark building whilst providing all the modern amenities one would expect from a contemporary Hotel, such as free use of hard-wired HSIA in all rooms. We also offer more moderate accommodations in our courtyard building, where the rooms are basic, standard motel rooms. We have three on site bars, which makes Hotel Aiken one of downtown Aiken’s most popular watering holes. We have live entertainment on Wednesday-Saturday nights until 2AM and are open seven days a week. Hotel Aiken is centrally located and considered "party central" almost every day of the week. Please keep this in mind when making your reservations at our hotel. Less

I stayed at this hotel because of it's pet friendly policy. I was not told there was a fee to keep the pet there although I did call to confirm that I was bringing a pet. If I had known I would have mentioned it again upon check in. After calling the hotel to ask why they charged

It's a quaint building with high high ceilings and long windows. Very clean rooms. Hotel staff is very friendly. They have an outside bar with music on the weekends and an inside bar which is very casual.
They are located near restaurants which is great !

This older place is perfectly situated in downtown Aiken, walking distance to everything-and the main building is undergoing a massive renovation. My room was in a two story 1950s style old motel lodge across the lot from the main hotel which is of 1900s-1920s vintage-free parki

We stayed at the motel because the main Hotel is under renovations. Sure, the rooms are old but they are clean. The main draw here is location. You can walk to everything.
The staff was polite.
They have wi-fi but neither of our tablets or phone could connect. No big deal:

I booked the Hotel on Expedia and when arriving we find out this hotel is under 1 1/2 year renovation and turning into a Marriot so they switched us to the Holly House Inn which was a two story drive up to your room old run down motel not even connected to the Aiken Hotel. It is
