Historical, friendly, beautiful and comfortable....and walking distance from the exemplary Oregon Shakespeare Festival, beautiful Lithia Park and excellent restaurants. Every hope for a pleasant stay was more than amply met. The hosts have a contagious enthusiasm for the history of this 135 yr. old house and the breakfast was superior. You can't go wrong.

Thank you for your kind words... Contagious Enthusiasm... I suppose I do...but I can't help it!!! I think our B&B is one of the most beautiful homes in Ashland. There are very few, if any, Italianate Mansions in this area. So... A beautiful home, close to everything, a staff that really understands what customer service means, and, what many guests...

MCCALL HOUSE in Ashland Oregon is the quintessential bed-and-breakfast. With weather and activities to suit every interest short of skiing there can be no better place to vacation. The innkeeper supreme is Daniel Perry. Daniel is the ring master for a group of courtesans beyond compare. The details with which they manage your visit are exquisite and comforting. Your return...

Visited Ashland during our summer vacation in August 2014. Had a very pleasant one night stay at the McCall house. Very interesting and historic property. Extremely convenient to downtown and the various sites. Visited during the annual Shakespeare Festival so the house and city were very busy. We stayed in the Chaucer room which was roomy with a nice sitting...

We stopped at McCall house on a long road trip from California to British Columbia. It was such a welcome respite from the predictability and anonymity of chain hotels. The house is a restored beauty, run flawlessly by Daniel and Jake, who took care of us impeccably. It is a historic house with many beautiful preserved features and superbly kept...

Julio- So glad that you and your son enjoyed your stay at the McCall House! I enjoyed having you here too... so did our Assistant Innkeepers, Jake and Claire. We enjoyed our two nights at the McCall House, staying in the south Carriage House which has a very comfortable bed and quality amenities. EASY walking distance to the theatres, and we felt very safe coming and going even late at night. The manager, Daniel, gave us a tour of the home, with all the history of its owners -...

My wife and I spent a lovely night at McCall house in the Rutherford B Hayes room. The home was lovely and elegant, our room eminently comfortable and welcoming. We spent time in the evening by the fire in the drawing room downstairs, reading and visiting. In the morning we enjoyed a sumptuous feast of a breakfast, everything freshly made...

My wife and I only stayed one night, but the staff made us as welcome as any long time customers. The rooms are very nice, the hotel decor is charming and historical. The breakfast was top notch. We spent 3 days at the McCall house and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. This is what a B&B should be. It is Authentic, well restored, and maintained. The service provided by the manager Daniel Perry and his housekeeper Susan, and rotating chefs was excellent. Will definitely return.
