The Chanticleer is a beautifully restored and cared for inn with all of the comforts of home. Comfortable couches to sink into, sherry and cookies to enjoy while deciding where to eat for dinner. Breakfast was delicious - a pear crumble to start and vegetable, ham frittata with country style potatoes. Great attention to detail with garnishes fresh from the...

We have tried several B&B in Ashland and Chanticleer Inn is by far the best B&B experience we have had. Rooms are spacious and the Innkeeper provided many helpful suggestions for activities. Easy walking distance to OSF and downtown. Full breakfast is excellent with fresh local ingredients each day that can accommodate dietary restrictions. We book early to make sure...

We loved visiting the Chanticleer Inn. It's so convenient to downtown. We loved our garden room with the pond in the back. The inn was clean and well organized with delicious breakfast. We can walk to Main St and get to the theaters in a few minutes. The walk back is uphill, so we got some exercise too

This is a great B&B that we have stayed at several times. Wonderful host who provides information about Ashland including things to do, places to eat and just good conversation. We enjoy the pleasant landscaping in the back as a place to read and relax when we are not attending plays.

We feel lucky to have found the Chanticleer inn. We loved everything about our experience. My wife and I travel through on highway 5 a number of times a year: this will be our stop from now on. We particularly liked the upstairs rooms, but looking to try the garden level ones next time
