I'm a wedding photographer. My bride booked the O'neil House for her private bridal portraits several months in advance, mentioning that she would need use of a bedroom for portraits, and was assured that was fine. Several weeks later, she was contacted by Gayle, the owner, saying that she had to change her appointment, since she'd booked all the rooms...

For my parents 80th birthday we held an extended family dinner at this wonderful old Tudor mansion. It really is a spectacular place with its old world paneled living room for pre-dinner drinks before entering the dining area. Gayle, the owner, sets fine china, plays soft music, arranges servers, valet, and cooks up a most wonderful meal. I have not...

From arrival to departure, every detail of my stay at the O'Neil House was 5/5. Furnishings, amenities, and gourmet breakfast make Gail's hospitality a must if you're visiting Akron. A world class place to stay!

Welcomed at the door and taken on a tour of this gorgeous home. Amazing location for weddings, showers as well., Gardens could be seen through the windows - would be awesome to walk if you have the time. My room was upstairs and was HUGE! Chandeliers adorned each room - even the bathroom. I had a huge living area with...

I booked the Oneil House for a small class reunion. The house is fabulous, breakfast is great. Do not put yourself under the stress of working with Gayle for an event!!! Oh she does a beautiful job of serving. However there is no contract that you can refer to over the course of planning an event, so things at the...

My husband and I love old houses. This is like getting to live in a fine old mansion the way the original owners did. My husband gets up earlier than I, so he read and had coffee in our sitting room while I lolled about in lovely high thread count linens. We had a gourmet breakfast served in the sunny...

Built in 1923, this home was restored in the 1990s and converted into a fantastic B&B. There are four rooms available, including two suites that have separate sitting rooms. We stayed in the Sleigh Bed Suite. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom (original) was spacious - having a separate tub and shower. The sitting room was great. In the morning,...

My husband and I spent one night in the sleighbed suite. The bedroom is large and has an attached living room and bathroom. Overall the room was clean but there were many cobwebs around the corners, lamps shades, etc. Our breakfast was very good. The owner, Gail, was friendly and helpful. Downsides are the floors are very squeaky. Sound travels...

My husband and I stayed at The O'Neil House for 2 nights. We had such a good, relaxing stay there. Our room was so spacious; it was actually 2 bedrooms with one and a half bathrooms, and a living room. The house is really big and beautiful, surrounded by really pretty gardens and a pond. And the breakfasts were amazing!...
