We recently returned from a trip to A Place At the Beach, Atlantic Beach, NC. What a wonderful vacation spot! My husband and I are not into all the commercialized craziness of some beach locations, this is the spot for us. We rented a first floor unit thru vrbo. Although we had very little view of ocean our location was...

This was our second trip to A Place at the Beach so we knew what we were getting regarding the resort. Overall, it's a nice family place with small rooms (even the 2 bedroom units) with basic beach rental furnishings and decor. Kitchens are decently stocked but you roll the dice with what you get based on your unit. For...

We stayed in Unit 375 and it has the best view of the ocean. (direct oceanfront) The condo is light and airy, with great beach decor that puts out a truly happy vibe. The condo has everything you need from the fully stocked kitchen to beach chairs. The deck chairs are genius-high enough so you have an unobstructed view. We...

I am an owner at A Place At The Beach. It is about time management, security and other staff consistently check that everyone on this property wear their blue or red tag. For years this property has been a free for all, and anyone could walk in off the beach to use our amenities, and we the owners paid for...

Just got back from A Place at the Beach. Couldn't tell if I was a guest or inmate. I guess the "Boss Man" of the place showed up, so the security was tightened up. I actually saw one of the managers digging around in a woman's property at the pool look'n for that blue tag, while she was in the...

My girls and I so enjoyed visiting A Place at the Beach. They have a fun pool for kids with an awesome slide. And the adults can slide too. :) Beach access is available too. It is just miles from the local Aquarium as well.

My family just got back from staying here and I was so relieved that the resort required the blue tags. This is the only resort with a water slide in Atlantic Beach and the pool is awesome. I remember being a teenager here 20 years ago looking for a resort to go up to and use their pool when I...

My family has been going to A Place at the Beach since 2001. We stay for a week at a time and really enjoy it. This year we did have one problem - the security team was hung up on making sure everyone had their recreation tags on them. One day my children were asked 3 times in one hour...

If you want a place where you can get away and enjoy family time at the beach and be worry free, this is not the place for you. I will say that the amenities here are nice, but enjoying them is a problem. While staying here you are REQUIRED to have these "arm" tags to use the pools, mini golf,...
