Horrible experience, the Elevators makes locomotive sounds all night couldn't sleep, the desk not offering info unless you asked ( like WIFI password, etc.), the soap and other products are minimal in size it's almost embarrassing (0.75 Oz per shampoo bottle) for a price stay more than 300$ a night and my wife claims the smell of a pee struck her while laying on the bed.NO complimentary breakfast offered but only free coffee, ridicules ...
This is one time that IHG got it right!!! We had been traveling for a week around some very steep mountains with numerous sharp curves and needed a place to relax. Being platinum members, my wife called IHG to book a hotel in the Asheville area and the lady at IHG told her about this hotel and my wife booked it. We were on US 64, one of the most picturesque roads in the country, but probably next to the Dragon's Tail, the curviest. As we were driving along, we noticed a dragging sound which sounded like our brakes coming from our Honda. Thankfully, we were only a few miles from Arden and our hotel. You can't imagine how happy I was to see the hotel, but to see there was a Honda dealership a couple of doors away. When we checked in we were greeted by Crystal, who couldn't have been more accommodating. While signing in, I asked her about the Honda dealership and she said, "They're amazing!" Figuring that since we did not have an appointment, we might be stuck while our car was repaired, I asked about the possibility of staying for an extra day if needed. She told me there would be no problem which put our minds to rest. As platinum members, she upgraded us to one of the nicest suites ever to make our stay even more enjoyable. You couldn't ask for a better place, convenient to everything. What comfort!!! The best shower ever with abundant pressure. Everything about this hotel was first class. Needless to say, I went ahead and booked another day. Staff makes a difference and with people like Crystal and Rick, you couldn't ask for better. The next morning, I took our car next door and since they had to order parts, booking the extra day turned out to be a good move. I also rented a car so we could enjoy the area. All in all, even with a $600 plus repair bill, having the comfort of a great hotel with a great staff made the repair bill easier to digest. If ever in the area again, there is no doubt we will stay here again. Kudos to management.…
Very clean, new hotel. Every employee we interacted with very helpful and friendly. The indoor pool and hot tub were very nice and relaxing. The pool are was very clean and nice. Our room was very clean and organized in a way that made it seem roomy. We ordered food to go from the restaurant in the hotel. The food was good and promptly made. There are many food options nearby if you want to go somewhere else. Would stay again without a doubt. Look forward to staying here again.
I stayed here the night before a 6AM flight. Check in was efficient. Unfortunately my IHG preferences went unnoticed and my room was right at the elevator. Surprisingly it was quiet. Room was nice clean and what I expect at a Holiday Inn. My only complaint is that an airport shuttle is great but when multiple airlines have 6AM departures you need to start the shuttle by 5AM at the latest. The hotel is so close that leaving by 5 is more than enough time to get through security and to the gate. Starting it at 6 just doesn’t work. Otherwise the place is nice and I would stay again.
The hotel was very clean, the room was also clean, comfortable beds and very spacious. The hotel is located near a lot of activities very easy to get to the Biltmore, restaurants and outdoor activities. The best part of the stay was interacting with one particular Front desk staff member Crystal!! She is a delight, she gives great recommendations of places to go and restaurants. She is the epitome of what great customer service is about. Our every interaction with her was awesome, she had a great smile and enthusiastic approach.
