By the end of our trip around Turkey we wanted to stay somewhere special and And Hotel is just that. A tiny hotel with just five rooms, situated in a very quiet (!) and atmospheric part of Ankara: The old city and citadel on top of a hill. The wooden clad rooms were clean, the beds comfortable and the shower... More

This is without doubt a beautiful old Ottoman building, tastefully restored, in an atmospheric part of the old city. I particularly loved the wooden ceilings. But service is based on smiles and shrugs. As others have said, it is a challenge to find, even for us who can usually fathom the thinnest of directions. The first thing that hit us... More

We stayed for 1 night in the suite of And Butik Hotel which is located inside the Ankara Castle/Citadel's walls. It was a little tricky to find it initially but when I rang for directions, they answered promptly and directed the taxi driver easily. The experience of driving uphill (and not doing that steep uphill walk with luggage) through the... More

We loved staying in this beautiful hotel, which is located in the Citadel. A bit hard to find (especially when travelling with a backpack, it's a steep way up to the Citadel), so arriving at the otogar, we took the metro and got of at 'Ulüs'. Then we took a taxi, and for only 10 TL the taxi dropped us... More

We stayed at the AND Hotel in Ankara for 3 nights. The hotel is right in the old city and very quaint. We had a lovely view and enjoyed watching the goings on of the neighbourhood. If you are looking for action, this is not the place for you but if you are looking for tranquility and peacefulness and ready... More

I have spent two nights in Ankara's And Hotel, is fine but what really annoyed me is the fact that with little effort it could have been an excellent accommodation. The really good points of And Hotel are the location in the heart of the newly restored Ottoman Citadel called Kahle (meaning Castle) and the cleanliness of the premises. The... More

The And Hotel is in a fantastic location, just down from the castle ramparts, with several excellent museums a short walk away. Haji Bayram mosque and the Roman Baths are close by. We got the suite at the top, and the views were fantastic. The people are so sweet, but try to have a Turkish phrase book or google translate... More

We had a very comfortable 2 nights here. Beautiful high-ceilinged wood-panelled rooms, friendly owners. The central heating had been turned off as days were getting warmer but nights were chilly, so the electric heater in one of the wardrobes came in useful! The wifi didn't work in our room, but it did in the more public areas which was fine... More

positive: - great location - clean room - free wi-fi - charming building - hard to beat at this price range - friendly staff negative: - heating a little noisy - very hard to find! We asked a trafic controler, and we ended up following him around the city; he was stopping around, asking his way. Took us 40 minutes... More

Ankara is a very busy, noisy town. For this reason, I enjoyed utmost my room in this calm area of the city. A small, relaxing Boutique Hotel. The area of the citadel is just gorgeous - especially in the evening hours, when you feel the centuries of this place much more... The streets here are still not paved, so do... More
