The former glory of this hotel cannot be ignored. The lobby with its chandeliers, grand piano, small orchestra and staff in long dresses just impresses. Where better to sit and watch the world go by. The buffet breakfast was impressive and particular mention to the napkin wizards who folded the napkin each time you left your seat. What style. Our...

The Manila Hotel is the Grand Old Lady of Central Manila. It has so much history and it's old bones sometimes show its age, but a refurbishing has added some polish and modern day luxury. The lobby is a grand parlor in which to have tea, and sometimes a mini-concert. The rooms are comfortable and spacious (for Manila). The only...

This hotel may have been glorious in the old days, less now. Rooms are fine but furniture is in need of attention. Clean . Food is avarage . Pool is closed in the morning so morning swim is not easy. Location ok.

The older part of the hotel is full of colonial charm and very 1920s in style. The hotel has improved hugely since we first stayed here 10 years ago. Great swimming pool and pool bar / snacks. Within walking distance and really convenient for the old part of Manilla / Intramuros

Manila Hotel is quite the cultural hotel. From the exterior to the interior, you can really see the unique design and feel this hotel has to offer. The check-in and check-out service was relatively quick and hassle-free. The rooms were a bit old, but I believe that this is just by design. We got a room with the ocean view...

The Manila hotel is an experience. It is not 5 star compsred to Singapore but the atmosphere is wonderful. Great lobby and the staff are well trained friendly and efficient. The rooms are large and well appointed but a little tired. If you have the city view the windows are only single glazed so you hear sirens etc all day....

Stayed 1 night before flight home. Traffic means it took 45 to 60 minutes between airport and hotel. Walking distance to intramuros, reason why we chose this hotel. Standard old style hotel room with carpet. Ate good pizzas in lobby lounge, huge breakfast buffet. Nice to have a pool to cool off, affordable late check out for late night flight...

Manila Hotel stands as majestic as it once did during WWII. Gen. Douglas MacArthur stayed in this hotel during his active duty in Manila. The hotel was bombarded during the war but refurbished and is a landmark not to be missed. Numerous High Society Balls and Weddings have been celebrated there in addition to many Presidential and government events. The...

Excellent even if is a very popular place for congresses, meetings, university parties, this means that every day there s something that make the wonderful hall very busy and noisy so it lost some of his undoubtely charme due to his history......rooms are more four star and half than five stars; breakfast is really really nice, service is a perfect...
