We stayed 3D2N in Sekeping. Located within the forest, the space is decent and definitely a unique experience for city dwellers. The space was not the cleanest but bearable. The shower facilities were a little old and the running water from the brass shower had a strong iron/metal taste and smell. The caretaker does his job but don't expect any...

Nice place to have a weekend getaway, I enjoy this place very much. There's no meal provided with the package. We were offered few options of local breakfast at the premium price. At the end of the day we decided to go into the town( which is quite far) to get our meal. Very cold at night and have the...

Sekeping Serendah is one of only a couple of nature retreats that I regularly escape to on the weekends for the following reasons : • Only an hour away from Kuala Lumpur • Unique glamping experience in the rainforest • Privacy because each of the sheds are cleverly spread out and hidden by foliage. This is very rare because most...

We were excited to have our Chinese New Year reunion in what we thought would be a quiet jungle resort. We stayed at the Warehouse which didn't have walls or doors apart from the toilets. That was fine as we expected it to be rustic. The nightmare started around 10pm when we heard loud band music booming out from a...

It was a nice place to relax and enjoy nature, but it is not worth going back. A total of 7 other female friends and I drove to the place in 2 cars. We stayed in Warehouse 1 which cost RM1160. It is ridiculous to stay a 14-person room with just the 8 of us. However, we did so because...

While it's a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life, it's way too expensive for the facilities they offer. In summary: Pros: Nice shared swimming pool, getaway in the jungle, hot shower available Cons: Lots of insects, not extremely clean, meals not provided and food not readily available, not child-friendly, expensive I stayed at Glass Box 2...

Outdoor. Like sleeping in the jungle. Nice experience and huge place. No wifi of course. Time to make a connection with your friends with games and chit chat. A swimming pool nearby. BBQ also allow but have to inform them.

The price is quite steep for a place that have so-so facilities. The management need to improve the signage! The house is beautiful, surrounded by beautiful trees, but the some parts of the house such as the stairs are rusty, which can be dangerous. It was funny that we had to pay such a high price and forced to EVACUATE...

It was my first experience to a local retreat at sekeping serendah. My first thought was merely a camping site. Upon our arrival.. we were greeted by the friendly and helpful caretaker named Krishna.. slowly explaining the facilities in the vicinity. After settling down, we tour around the compound, trekking, visiting other shed rooms and went on to dipped ourselves...

"....For the amount of money we paid, close to RM2,000; we should have been treated in such a manner; evacuated and not being allowed to eat. Very very bad experience." That up there is the summary of my stay, for those of you who are not keen on reading the whole story. For those who are, please continue below.. My...
