we stayed at the bird's nest II guesthouse and loved it so much, that we just had to extend our stay... and are going back there the next time (very soon) when we're in the city. Cozy interiors, amazing helpfull staff, comfy beds and loads of interesting people.

No, I did NOT stay at this guesthouse. I just "came" looking for a friend of mine. I understand that your guesthouse is one of many guesthouses/hostels in Kuala Lumpur that imposed "NO Malaysians" or "NO locals" policies and unfortunately (not sure if this is the right word to use to describe the incident) for me, although I am an...

I stayed in a dorm room, which would have been tight and noisy (creaky beds!) were it full but luckily I had the whole room to myself got four days. The accommodation is very basic but it's clean and comfortable, the courtyard is a great to chill out and the wifi is strong. It's in a great location, right outside...

The best feature of this place is it's beautiful little courtyard. A very nice escape from the bustle of Kuala Lumpur Chinatown. Our room was simple but fine for the price. The owner did seem a little bit picky about who stayed there. There were mostly couples while we were there.

Basic hostel, but the owner makes the difference. He is so nice, involved and always in for a chat. I stayed in a private room with AC, it was a perfect place to start and end my trip. The hostel is close to transport and in the center of the most interesting part of KL.

Nestled in the heart of KL, between chinatown and pasar seni train station, bird nest is very welcoming and cosy and offers different range of rooms for very fair prices. It can be very hot in the room though but this is the best budget place I found in KL!

Great location in Chinatown and close to all transport, a bood base to walk around in KL. The owner Willi is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic, similar to the average guesthouses all around, small and without bathrooms but clean and far more welcoming then the rest. There are 4 shared bathrooms, all with hot showers, a nice...

Hello, Simply on here to recommend a truly positive addition to the trip. The two nights spent in Bird Nest 1 served as a jumping point for adventures into Taman Negara and the Cameron Highlands. Willi (the owner) is the man, one of the more beneficial people with which I had the pleasure of interacting on my journey. Competitive rates,...

Instantly loved this place when we walked through the door, nice rooms at nice prices, good facilities, great atmosphere and common area, a really cool place to stay after a days exploring the city. We stayed at Bird Nest 2, but also saw Bird Nest 1 which looked nice too.
