Unfortunately I had a bad experience here. Never felt more unwelcome in any accomodation whatsoever. Owner told me i was cheap, not allowed to complain for only 35 myr and literally replied on my question if the broken aircon could be fixed that she didnt need my business anyway :O i was flabbergasted and left without telling her why, which...

Good location for backpackers why want to stay close to the main party street and the main sight seeing spots. We stayed in a 6-bed dorm upstairs, it was clean and okay but the bathrooms were really small (use the newer ones downstairs if You can). The breakfast was quite nice! The owner was a bit unfriendly.

If you're looking for a laid-back hostel that gives you a breather after a day out in humid, loud KL, then Travellers Palm Lodge should be your home away from home. Suzy and her daughter Zsazsa were amazing hosts, always there to entertain, give travel advice or just play around. There are some nice food stalls around the corner, and...

We had a privatroom with fan and AC and own shower but we shared the toilet with other guests. Suzy was an amazing host! Every morning we asked how to find places where we wanted to go, good place to eat or good shopping malls, and Suzy was always helpfull and we got good tips. We have stayed in at...

We stayed 3 nights and found this the perfect place from which to explore Kuala Lumpur. Although our room had no window, it felt bright and bigger than it actually was. Breakfast was more than adequate and the hostess was welcoming and helpful. Great value for money, would definitely return.

This is how you want to be welcomed! Suzy is a great host. And even that is an understatement. She has hostmanship, the art of making people feel welcome. And to add to that you've got princess Zsazsa running around. Unlimited energy in that girl! Meeting fellow backpackers here is very easy. Loved my stay and will definitely come back!

The travellers Palm lodge ticks all the boxes: it's increadable value for money, ideally located (as central as you can get, yet in a quiet location), clean and the service is good. The host is very attentive, she is more than willing to make you feel at home and to give you advice on where to go and things to...

It feels like a home more than a hostel. You feel no stranger at all and the rooms are very clean with nice smell. The owner is a lovely lady and really helpful. The location is prefect and so close to Jalan Alor where you can find a variety of Chinese food. The place is also close to the monorail...

Great location, walking distance to lots of food, shopping, public transport options. Had a private twin room, which was fine and clean but smelt musty and damp. The outside sitting area is nice. I preferred this hostel to another I stayed in KL as this was smaller and quieter. Suzy is a friendly, helpful but unobtrusive host. Would choose again...

“I've stayed in 3 rooms: The mattresses are good quality, the dorm bunks are comfy and there is a wee balcony too. Small but perfectly formed. 'Tranquility' room is a double and a single bed that also backs onto the balcony. Nice room! The family room 'dreams' has 3 bed options, single bunks and a double bed. The rooms are small but clean and have high ceilings which is nice!”
