We booked 2 days at this hostel after reading the fairly good reviews. On arrival, we were led into our room, outside our door was a filthy hallway which was cluttered with rubbish and old broken bits and bobs. The stench of damp filled our room, it was unbearable! It wasn't clean, and there were patches of mould in various...

We really felt sad to leave that place after nearly a week because it really felt like home there. Especially because of the super sweet manager and the very helpful stuff. With the beautiful little garden the travellers lodge is an oasis in that busy town. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning sun on our private balkony or while...

Overall, our time at the Travellers Palm Lodge was good experience. Our biggest pros: 1. The people here are really kind, accommodating, and incredibly helpful for any question we had 2. It is a secure place and they kept our belonging safe (we are traveling by bicycle so this is always a concern for us) 3. It seems to be...

First all nice but when I and my friends were told we were not allowed to have other people in the room (we paid for a room for more people) we guarantees it wouldn't happen again and apologized. We also offered to pay in advance so that she would know we would not break the rules again. I never had...

I was overwhelmed to see such a warm welcome on arrival when I had firstly stepped into the premises of Travellers Palm Lodge. This is one of the best and a very budget friendly hostel located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. You can relax here, get recharged, refresh yourself.

The first room where we were supposed to stay smelled terrible and there were black spots on the wall. Staff was lovely and helpful when I told that I'm allergic to mold and can't stay in the room. We were offered to get our money back or get other room from the upstairs. It was late and we had had...

Just here for a two night stay - good location and easy to get to either by taxi or a short walk from monorail station. Only a few negatives - only two power points in the dorm making phone charging hard. Shower is a shared cubicle with the toilet so good luck having a decent shower if you're abit on...

I stayed in a dorm room, which has only limited number of wall outlets among eight people. Don't expect anything from free breakfast. The lodge itself is pretty old, toilets and shower are tiny (although fairly clean). It is a 'family-hostel' which just meant the reception was largely unmanned during my stay -- not great for travelers who might need...

A warm welcome and a nice place to discover the city. I loved the ecological way of thinking. The self-service breakfast and 'honestly box' was a nice experience. The little garden is a nice place to chat. Wifi was working fine. Keep going suzy and staff!

Thank Joke H

“I've stayed in 3 rooms: The mattresses are good quality, the dorm bunks are comfy and there is a wee balcony too. Small but perfectly formed. 'Tranquility' room is a double and a single bed that also backs onto the balcony. Nice room! The family room 'dreams' has 3 bed options, single bunks and a double bed. The rooms are small but clean and have high ceilings which is nice!”
