I was overwhelmed to see such a warm welcome on arrival when I had firstly stepped into the premises of Travellers Palm Lodge. This is one of the best and a very budget friendly hostel located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. You can relax here, get recharged, refresh yourself.

The first room where we were supposed to stay smelled terrible and there were black spots on the wall. Staff was lovely and helpful when I told that I'm allergic to mold and can't stay in the room. We were offered to get our money back or get other room from the upstairs. It was late and we had had...

Just here for a two night stay - good location and easy to get to either by taxi or a short walk from monorail station. Only a few negatives - only two power points in the dorm making phone charging hard. Shower is a shared cubicle with the toilet so good luck having a decent shower if you're abit on...

I stayed in a dorm room, which has only limited number of wall outlets among eight people. Don't expect anything from free breakfast. The lodge itself is pretty old, toilets and shower are tiny (although fairly clean). It is a 'family-hostel' which just meant the reception was largely unmanned during my stay -- not great for travelers who might need...

A warm welcome and a nice place to discover the city. I loved the ecological way of thinking. The self-service breakfast and 'honestly box' was a nice experience. The little garden is a nice place to chat. Wifi was working fine. Keep going suzy and staff!

Comfortable and helpful. Feels like we've been welcomed into someone's home. The relaxed staff point out everything and make sure that our stay will be enjoyable and relaxed. Safety is a priority and there is good security. There is no pressure at this place.

Stayed here June 2016 and found the room to be basic but everything you need when back packing in Asia. A fan and air con as well as hot water. Very simplistic breakfast but a nice spot out the front with benches to enjoy eating it. Extremely secure which was the most important thing. Friendly staff and a wonderful location...

Our room was clean, bathroom as well. Air-conditioning and hot-water worked. Breakfast was nice. They have benches outside, which is nice if you want to meet people or rest after the day. Location is perfect, right next to a The street to eat at night. The staff was polite and helped us find info on our next trip. Unfortunately there...

I stayed here back in 2009, had my own room which was clean, a bit small but what else do you need? Staff friendly and in a great location. Have told many friends to stay there. If I am every back in KL I would stay again.

Stayed here for a few nights, it was ok. Padlocks on the gate as you arrive and breakfast nothing to rave about. Owner was nice and room was clean. Having no window in the room was a disappointment, felt very dark and lonely. Location was good near main streets and short walk to Imbi station. Would probably try somewhere different...

“I've stayed in 3 rooms: The mattresses are good quality, the dorm bunks are comfy and there is a wee balcony too. Small but perfectly formed. 'Tranquility' room is a double and a single bed that also backs onto the balcony. Nice room! The family room 'dreams' has 3 bed options, single bunks and a double bed. The rooms are small but clean and have high ceilings which is nice!”
