Stayed here because of the tripadvisor's reviews. Pros: clean, new towels everyday, good location, really nice breakfast, and really nice "terrace"/area outside. Cons: to my surprise judging by the reviews here the unfriendliness of some staff, specially reception staff. We had a young chinese girl who was very rude and unfriendly. Most of the time she didnt even bother to...

Pro: Room was clean Breakfast was a bit more varied than the usual continental breakfast (this was not just toast and jam but juice, fruit, cake, and roti) Place is a short walk to the monorail. Double room was roomy, but a proper wardrobe would have been appreciated Breakfast staff was actually helpful and offered good service. Cons: My room...

This hostel is quiet, has lots of character, and is in a great location - just behind the huge Times Square Mall, and next to the monorail. Easy access to sites in the city. For Kuala Lumpur, it is also good value, and the breakfast provided is great - especially the home made banana pancakes and fresh fruit! Delicious. We...

Pros: Clean, great breakfast (fresh fruit, coffee, asian style omlet/pancake, pastries or toast and orange juice). Very friendly staff except for the head manager - she's selectively nice to certain guests. Good location - right next to mall, monorail train station and major hotel with taxi stand - very easy to get to from airport by train. Rooms cleaned daily...

Great staff, very clean room, just remember this is a budget hostel type place, not a Marriott hotel.... Great location, loved this place, wish we had more time there!

Stayed for several nights in May. Very hospitable staff. Great location - just about 20 meter from Berjaya Times Square, one of the biggest malls in Malaysia and in the same time pretty quiet place. You can find a coupon taxi booth right in front of the mall (might be useful since a coupon taxi saves you from been ripped...

Great location, right by the Imbi monorail stop, in the Golden Triangle and near the restaurants, street food stalls, bars and buzz of Jalan Sultan Ismail. Staff very friendly and helpful - I stayed due to an unexpected stop over during the volcanic ash cloud disruption. This is a great place to meet people if you are travelling alone as...

I am not against it but I am not for it either. Jotting down pros and cons: 1. Clean - Linen. Rooms. Corridors. B'fast. 2. Location - Close to mono rail, cabs, times square. Cons 1. Staff - Friendly but indifferent while checking out - Shudn't matter much to most but leaves a taste! 2. Cramped - The rooms very...

Best place to stay on a budget in KL. On a quiet street behind Times Square, 30min by taxi from KLIA airport. Service is excellent and despite being tiny, the rooms have all you need and clean. Close to all commodities (5min from Jln Anor for fine chinese food).

Another traveller recommended this to us a couple of days before we stayed here. Was apprehensive as most KL hostels got their fair share of duff reviews. Got there and was so pleased. Young man on reception was really nice, offered us water as soon as we entered and helped us check-in. The staff are generally more reserved and don't...
