Plus points to this hotel. It withstood an 5.2 earthquake tremor - admittedly the epicentre was some hundred and fifty kilometres away in the Wakayama are, but certainly was a weird sensation as my 10th floor room gently shuddered! Location to Osaka Castle and Park is excellent. Also there is a subway entrance 1 minute walk from the hotel which...

I really liked this hotel. The location is great, right by the metro and very close to Osaka Castle. The hotel was a standard corporate style hotel, but it was clean and comfortable and had helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was ok, plenty of options both Japanese and western. I would recommend it.

Nice little hotel, the rooms were of a decent size, modern and clean. Great location, right next to Osaka Castle. We stayed in Osaka just for the night, so it gave us the time to visit the Castle without having to take any public transport.

Stayed here for 2 nights. A nice clean friendly hotel in a good location. The subway is a few minutes walk away. Osaka castle is about 5-10 minutes away. Family mart and Seven11 is a few minutes walk away. The room was nice and clean and spacious. The bathroom was spacious and good powerful shower.

This hotel was ok for what we paid. As expected it was still a small room with a double size bed pushed up against the wall. I had seen photos of another room with the bed away from the wall and thought that was what we were getting, but we were told that ALL the rooms were like that! But...

Because of a change in our flight schedule I booked The Lutheran at the last minute. The room size of 18 m2 was the largest of the 3 different hotels on this family trip of ours for Osaka and Kyoto. We were given our rooms ahead of the normal check-in time of 2 pm. The hoteI is well located, only...

This is a great hotel in a good location for a reasonable price. The staff were friendly (but didn't speak much English) and let us check in early. We were in a twin room. The room and bathroom were clean (lovely soaps!) and had a toilet with all the buttons!! Beds were quite hard but still comfortable. The hotel is...

Just had a one night stay and was very pleased with The Lutheran. Staff were very helpful and efficient, the room was quite large by Japanese standards, beds were firm but very comfortable and I had a great sleep. Can't comment on breakfast because we didn't eat there. Nice body wash, shampoo etc in the bathroom.

The Lutheran is showing signs of wear. It's a bit drab. The room sizes are not bad by Japanese standards. Each room has a bar fridge, which is convenient No water is supplied, but the staff say the tap water is drinkable. The hotel has laundry facilities, for which a charge is rendered. The Lutheran also has a bank of...
