Hahaha, how to explain the "Hotel Diamond" ? Well, it's Very cheap, very well located, 5 minutes away from a train station, from a dollar shop, from conevnient store and from Donkijote. It is so easy from this "hotel" to access the "COOL OSAKA" , just a what ? 20 - 30 minutes walk ? And it's 10 minutes away...

This hotel is very cheap and well located, near a subway (doubutsuenmae) and JR train station (Shin imamiya), where you can take a train to Kansai airport. There's a lot of restaurants, convenience stores, bars, karaokes and a supermarket, a Daiso and Donki near. The neighborhood is a little bit strange, with beggars walking in the streets, but is secure....

I booked here because I knew I wouldn't be finding such prices anywhere else in Japan. You get your own room, which is capsule sized (but you can stand up). Wifi and showers are only on the ground floor. The walls are very thin, so bring ear plugs if that effects you or you can buy them at reception. I...

I loved the fact that for a small amount, I got my own room in an expensive country like Japan. Though I must mention the room is very small. But I liked having my privacy. I had booked a non-AC room but it was so humid that I decided to upgrade it to an AC one which was charged 100...

Close to subway station (Dobutsuen-mae Station, exit 8) - less than 50 meters away, friendly staff, although I'm not sure the Mister can speak English, the woman who can occasionally be found behind the desk can speak English. There are free brochures and maps in the lobby to help with getting around Osaka and Kyoto. There is a common room/kitchen...

Where to start WiFi was only on the bottom floor with the smokers, or in the tiny kitchen, the onsen was just a bath with green tea added. It was very noisey around 1 - 3am every night, and the toilets are filthy even walked in one morning and found crap on the floor. Avoid at all costs! Only stay...

It is situated at convenient location, just 250 meter from dobutsuen-mae station exit number 8, after go out from station just 20 meters away left side. It is quite cheaper hotel, but it is very dirty and washroom, room and whole hotel from inside is just a mess. I will recommend unless you are solo traveller or looking for cheaper...

This review covers single rooms and double rooms: Diamond Hotel: To start, let me introduce you to Diamond hotel, a hotel in the seedier part of Osaka (dobutsuen-mae) that is pretty easily found on the street. It is only about 30 feet from a subway entrance and about 100 feet from the nearest convenience store. All in all it was...
