We booked 3 non-smoking rooms and all 3 rooms smells like cigarettes. The air was dusty that caused allergy reaction from me. Laundry machine on the 2nd floor is helpful although dryer was very slow. There is an underground mall one block away that connects to the train station.

Other than locational advantage the hotel has excellent staff , decent and polite . Subway to Umeda is full of shops you can buy what you need. There is 100 Yen shop next to hotel you can buy small things at that rate. Overall a wonderful experience.

Undoubtedly, it is a normal hotel in Osaka. The location is no good, but still convenient because it takes you 15 mins by metro to central Osaka, yet it is near the station and a supermarket and pharmacy. If you stay here and travel in Osaka first time, I suggest not staying here unless you have any subway day pass,...

Tonight will be the last of my 5 nights' stay at Osaka Tokyu Rei Hotel. We had a really pleasant stay. The room was small and since we are both not the smallest in terms of size, it was a a bit of a squeeze. However, it was comfortable, clean and had all the basics right. Well done! Location was...

The Tokyu REI hotel was a very nice hotel to stay at for our one night in Osaka. It's walkable even with luggage from the Osaka station, and there are tons of restaurants, bars, cafes, pachinko houses, and spas in the area. We took a limousine bus from the airport, which drops you off sort of behind the Osaka station....

Just a short walk to the underground mall which connects to the Osaka Umeda Station as well as all the shopping areas. There is a restaurant street just behind the hotel. Compared to other Japanese hotels I have been to, their rooms are not too small. Although we were a bit cramped because we were 3 in the room. The...

Yes, hotel rooms tend to be smaller in Japan, but we've stayed at places where space management is well thought out. There were so amny things about the room that just did not do this efficiently. We'd booked s room for two single beds. Instead we checked in to two double size mattresses that took all the space and did...

We went there as a family at the beginning of the Summer holiday. The staff are kind enough to put us together in two rooms adjacent to each other. Like any other hotels in Japan, room itself is a bit small. Beds are comfortable. Everywhere is very clean. Umeda subway station is about 15 mins walk. The best is, you...

Stayed here second night in Osaka and I was surprised by the comfort level that came with the affordable room price as the previous boutique hotel was more cramp and expensive. Not that the hotel rooms in Japan are spacious to begin with but the twin room in Tokyu REI Osaka is really comfortable. There was ample space to fit...
