This hotel is connected with the JR Osaka station. I booked this hotel for my business trip due to its location and my positive past experience in other Granvia hotels. But this time, my stay was disaster. 1. The Corridor of the 21th floor smelled musty. It is not welcoming. 2. I accept the size of the room but I...

This hotel is very centrally located above the railway, which is super convenient. The actual hotel is very high up in the building, so the railway noise isn't an issue. Be aware that check-in is definitely not until 3pm, but the staff will care for bags when you arrive earlier. Clean and fairly modern, with several expensive restaurants and one...

We stayed in a family room in Hotel Granvia Osaka in September. The room is nice and clean but really not much room with the 4 beds, which isn't a big deal since we spent most of our time out and about and only really slept there. Trains were actually not too noisy even though we were facing the tracks...

This hotel is not spectacular but it has the best location of all the places I've stayed in Osaka. The hotel is part of a mall that sits on top of the Osaka train station at Umeda. This ensures the easiest transportation to anywhere you want to go in the city. The area has all the top department stores plus...

Stayed here for a couple of nights while on business, excellent hotel reasonably priced. Nice and modern with spacious room and very clean and comfy. Service friendly, I dont speak japanese but thankfully the man at the front desk spoke enough broken english and managed to understand me! Superb japanese hospitality towards visitors as usual.

Hotel tried to put us in smoking rooms despite our clear instructions to the booking agents for non-smoking rooms. The inital explanation from the hotel was that they ran out of non-smoing rooms. When we insisted and asked to show the booking instructions, the manager insisted that "SGL" shown on the slip meant single smoking room, contrary to the booking...

Reception was not as friendly as we have encountered at other Granvia Hotels. Our room, 4328, was one of the largest we have encountered. It made the king size bed look small. On the other hand the shelf space in the bathroom was lacking. The room was clean and tidy but could be improved by removing scuff marks from the...

Visited Osaka and stayed at the very conveniently located Granvia (at station). We had booked rooms on the Granvia floor which gave us access to lounge with free drinks and nibbles. Room was suburb and well laid out and wonderful soft bed. Friendly staff made the stay even better - all in all great experience

Nice clean but small rooms. had to keep our suitcases closed to walk in room. Very clean and walking distance to restaurants. Hotel itself is connected to many levels of shopping and food courts. Concierge service and bell service. Hotel is hard to find from the inside off the train as attractive main entrance is from the outside (North-side?) Cafe...

Located inside the Shin-osaka station, it's a good staging point for anyone visiting Osaka for just a day - especially for a visit to Universal Studios Japan. Nothing special, and the rooms smell a bit funky but for backpackers, it's a considerable, convenient upgrade.
