They make you believe that the pool and gym are part of the hotel but they're not. You have to pay to access these facilities which was quite a bummer 'cause we pick our hotels based on these. To use the pool you have to pay ¥2,160 and to use the gym (incl pool) you have to pay ¥5,400. You...

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst in Osaka. They upgraded our room for free on arrival to the imperial floor. The service is exceptional here though it can be quite surprising to receive a chorus of good mornings when you reach the lobby. The rooms we clean and well kept. We had breakfast at the hotel buffet which was...

We stayed here for one night only because we wanted to visit Universal Studios which was only 30mins way by train. The location of the hotel was decent, it's nestled within a quiet and peaceful area away from the main city, yet within close proximity to all the main attractions. We got a river facing room with an amazing view....

This was a very nice hotel. The room was beautiful and had a great view of the river. The bathroom was large with a shower and soaking tub. Within walking distance to the train station but also the hotel had a shuttle that goes to various places you just get a ticket a the bell desk its complimentary.

Beautiful hotel located across the canal from Osaka Castle. We arrived late on New Year's Eve so ended up celebrating at the Rainbow Lounge on 23rd floor overlooking Osaka city skyline. We lucked out at check in when reception staff kindly upgraded us to the Executive Floor with views overlooking the city. We found the shuttle bus service (runs every...

It has good toiletries include cosmetic sample from famous brand in Japan. I had breakfast at the restaurant in the ground floor because the other floor already full. The restaurant provided Japanese and Western...

The Imperial Hotel Osaka is located far away from the main city district to get away from the bustle but close enough to be within touching distance of the action... beautiful old hotel located right next to a river with a pretty park and excellent dining options (check out the Oriental Garden it's a must). The rooms are old and...

Location: I wouldn't say it's centrally located in Osaka at all. In fact, it takes about 15 minutes by cab to get to the central area of Osaka - the Dotonburi area - so it's a bit inconvenient. The train station is also quite a walk from the hotel. Nearest one is about 10 minutes walk and it's way across...

First of all, Imperial hotel is one of the best hotel in Japan. You can get real OMOTENASHI (hospitality) from this Japanese hotel. I took a taxi from Osaka station to this hotel, the taxi dropped me on the first floor. The bell service immediately approached me asked if i would stay. He explained that checkin lobby is actually on...

Had the opportunity to visit Osaka for business, and my wife and I had a three night stay at the Imperial Hotel. Highly recommend; five star service and a very elegant modern hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and I loved Old Imperial Bar in particular. The bar is old school, sophisticated and the service impeccable. Located on the rivers...
