Our trip to Japan started in Osaka region. We decided to choose Osaka as a hub to visit other cities in the region and Karaksa grand hotel located at Shin Osaka worked perfectly! The hotel is five minutes walking from one of the main stations in Osaka. The hotel is new, clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We booked two connecting rooms for our family of 4, and it worked perfectly! Nearby there are lots of options for eating and shopping! If you’re looking for a good cost benefit when traveling to the region, I would definetly recommend the stay at Karaksa!
We have booked a twin room and stayed for 4 nights here in Karaksa hotel grande shin Osaka. The Room is spacious, modern & very clean. The Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel also has a Laundry room, which is very handy for family traveller, public bathtub, free wifi, vending ice machine and Drink Vending machine. The most important is that this hotel is close approximately to shin Osaka JR line and Osaka Metro Lines, which are very convenient for any family travelling with young kid or many luggages. The hotel also a lot shop in the surrounding area from mini market (Lawson) located in the 1st floor of the hotel, restaurants, big supermarket & Daiso. I highly recommend this hotel for everyone who wish to stay in Shin Osaka Area.
Just checked out of this hotel this morning! I stayed here with my mom and it was such a lovely experience! I highly recommend it. The room was lovely with a wonderful view the city beyond Shin-Osaka station. We had a jrail pass so used this as a base to visit Nara and Kyoto, too. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet. If you wake up early, it’s was delicious and super convenient.
This is not the first time we stay at Karaksa joint. After our previous stay at Karaksa Saporro, we decided to try in Osaka. If you take exit 4 from Shin-Osaka Station, you can take a 3 minute walk to Karaksa Shin Osaka Tower Hotel. Reception is at 2nd floor, it was quick service and easy. We reserved 2 bed and 3 bed , total of 2 rooms connecting. It was convenient for party of 5 travelers. The amenities including electric converter was provided in the room. What we like about Karaksa is the bed, bathroom, and room is very confortable. English translated system on TV, AC and Laundry as well. 4 laundry machines with coins in located at 4th floor. Very convenient. During the rainy days, towels are provided at the entrance for free. You can also monitor the status of the laundry machine as well. What a service, we love it We love staying at this hotel, definitely recomended for family stay. …
A very comfortable hotel near Shin-Osaka Station. About 10 minutes walk from the station. Wonderful customer service. The rooms were small but exceptionally clean and functional. A short train ride to Osaka Ginza.
Nice hotel, convenient location. Rooms are good size, the place has make and females Onsen (even though we weren’t able to use it since we have tattoos), laundry, restaurant and even a convenience store on the ground level. Special point for offering “Eco-cleaning” as an option to guests which means you don’t get your sheets cleaned and towels changed everyday! In exchange, you get coins that you can use in a vending machine for drinks! Would definitely stay there again.
We booked a family room with Tatami with the hotel. The hotel was brand new, and all facilities were functional and clean. Our room was located on the 20th Floor, and it was very spacious and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the experience of sleeping on the tatami, and taking a long bath at the sparkling clean bathtub was what all of us looked forward to after long, tiring but enjoyable days out exploring the Kansai area. The view from the windows were fantastic too, offering unparalleled views of arriving planes making their final descend to Itami Airport, and the skylines of Umeda. There was a public bath on the 4th Floor, and a buffet breakfast restaurant on the 3rd Floor, both of which we did not utilize. The hotel is located a short 5-minute walk from Shin-Osaka station, where we took the Midosuji Line subway to access to various parts of Osaka. Shinkansen is also based at Shin-Osaka Station, making the hotel ideal for visitors who need to take the trains. The best part of the hotel was its staffs. We noted that there were staffs originating from Philippines, Hong Kong, PRC and South Korea to add to the flair of the Japanese staffs. It was an experience for us to be able to converse Japanese, English, Cantonese and Mandarin to the various staffs in Japan! Despite originating from different parts of Asia, all staffs served with sincerity to ensure that our stay was pleasant and hassle-free. For that, I truly appreciate their efforts in making this one of our best stays in Japan. Thank you to Lucio, Tung, Obama and Kim. You guys and gals are truly wonderful and fun to be with! We’d love to come back to visit all of you again soon! …
Are usually hardly give 5* but here it is well deserved. As everywhere in Japan the rooms are extremely clean. For a hotel in this price range it offers exeptional rooms with sufficient space, separate toilet from bath. The breakfast is for Japanese standards good. Everybody is trying very hard and he’s very polite. OK, they have some starting issues as their hotel is brand new. The processes are not always smooth but at the end everything can be settled. In case you have any issue ask for Mr. Nabil. He will make the impossible possible. Overall the hotel is very recommendable
We stayed at this hotel in December 2019. The hotel is spanking new! That’s probably why there is not any English review on TripAdvisor yet. Aside from its brand new condition, the twin room was of very good size especially for Osaka (approx. 20+ sqm.). We can fully open two suitcases and there was still some space left to walk around. I would say that this is rather unusual for business hotels in Osaka, and this could really make a difference in comfort. The room has a very good view of the city. The bathroom and the toilet are separated, which means more efficient use if you travel in pairs. There was a good-sized bathtub. The water pressure was strong, and the temperature can be adjusted precisely. The hi-tech toilet's keypad was clearly marked in English. (This is not always the case in Japan) They even provided 2 sets of shampoo and soap, one for men and the other for women. However, no lotion or facial cleanser provided. I would prefer that they provide lotion and facial cleanser instead of 2 sets of shampoo and soap. Inside the room, it has everything one would need: SHARP air purifier/humidifier, free Wi-Fi, plenty of plug outlets, USB charging ports, bottled water, slippers, and PJs. Two types of pillows are provided: a softer and harder one. They have a public bath on the 4th floor but I didn’t use it. The breakfast was good given the price. The restaurant was large, so there was no line in the morning. There were both Japanese and Western selections and they had a very good coffee machine there. See the attached photos. They have a convenience store on the first floor. The location is about 7-8 minutes walk from Exit No. 4 at Shin-Osaka subway station. This is very good for those who plan the travel or arrive by JR. The sidewalk from the station was rather smooth and somewhat easy to navigate with a spinner suitcase. However, it would take 20+ minutes by train to get to the center like Namba or Dotonbori. If you don’t plan to make a trip back and forth between the hotel and other spots in the city, I think the room quality and additional space were well worth the extra travel time. The safety of the hotel was good. The elevator access to each floor was controlled by the key card. The lobby and hallway were modern and stylish. Moreover, the staff actually tried their best to fulfill my request. Both the front desk and restaurant staff are very friendly and kind. The front desk had no problem communicating in English. It should be safe to say that this is a solid 4-Star property and we would stay with them again next time I visit Osaka.…
