Carpe Diem was a beautiful ryokan in Osaka where are only few ryokans. Garden was wonderful. My room with floor mats was nice. Breakfast was served in a nice tea room with japanese and western breakfast choices. The ryokan was at walking distance to 2 different subway station.
We stayed five days at this Ryokan and totally enjoyed the experience. The Tea Room is large & comfortable, so is the Sakura Room. Chris & Alex our hosts are the friendliest of brothers. The English speaking staffs are friendly too. I highly recommend this accommodation for…
We had a wonderful stay here, it was the first stop on our Japan trip and loved the style of the guesthouse, the rooms are spacious, clean and well designed. The beds were so comfy! The staff were really kind and helpful and lent us a couple of bikes to go exploring the park.…
Although due to change of itinerary we had to cancel our booking at Carpe Diem, the prompt, easy and friendly communication between Alex and I was impressive. I'll for sure try to book it again with them next time when I come to Osaka!
Carpe diem is hard to find and in an area not so many tourists around. We like to be more blended into local so picked this place. The place itself is the best you can expect. The hosts Alex and Chris are very nice as well. Young but run this hiddrn bnb in a professional way.
"Book as far in advance as you can and ask for the Tea Rooms for the best garden view."
"The loft is very cosy and modern"
"During spring it can be too cold in the big ryokan. You may prefer the room upstairs."
"Loft room is fantastic, but does have a steep stair-climb to the upper floor bedroom."
"We had the amazing loft room with the old style bathtub. The WiFi signal was pretty poor in this room but everything else about it was exceptional."
