We spent 4 days at Sakura Suite. They have large, clean and comfortable rooms with largish bathrooms. The staff are friendly and the hotel offers a complementary breakfast service to its guests. It is good value for money. The location is close to Juso train station (not JR) that has trains into Umeda Station. It is not close enough to walk to Osaka and most of the activities within Osaka you will need to catch 2 trains for. It is an easy commute to Kyoto and Kobe from the train station.
We had chosen this boutique hotel as we read many good reviews. It was indeed a clean and neat hotel, although the rooms are smaller from what we expected. The service was very nice without doubt. The staff are friendly but they couldn’t speak much English which made it abit difficult to communicate. Breakfast spread is pretty decent and they come with evening snacks. The evening snack is served with some cooked food with a few range of alcoholic drinks. Overall, the stay was comfortable but just curious why the glasses we used were not cleaned daily but replaced with new one and the used glasses were left aside... do they expect us to clean it ourselves? I’ve never come across such thing from boutique hotel stay. It’s quite unpleasant. The hotel itself is located next to many love hotels and itself also may consider as a love hotel. It may not be appropriate for family stay. I would not be a return customer when there are many more nicer hotel to choose from. …
I spent 6 nights in this hotel during my vacation with my family. This hotel is good if you want to explore Kansai area (Kobe, Nara, Kyoto). Only 5-7 mins walking distance to Juso station. The hotel surrounding is also good for everyone who need a quite area, not too crowded, also many restaurant nearby with affordable price. Breakfast is standard, a bit boring if you spend almost a week with the same menu, but the woman who standby at breakfast area is very friendly eventhoug I can't speak Japan. Overall my family enjoy stay in this hotel.
easy checking in, friendly staff, its near hankyu train station, about 2 minutes walk to a convenient general store. The room is spacious and the room toiletries is very nice. Very quiet roomThe bathroom is very spacious as well.
we stay 6 night in this hotel as basecamp. we are impressed since first time we through the room, very clean and space quite good, amenities are completed even compare to branded one. very accessible if you want to go around Osaka Kyoto Kobe nara, 5 minutes from juso station which have direct access to Kobe and Kyoto and just 1 station away from umeda ( the heart of osaka) the staff was very friendly & warm hearted, although they hardly to speak English but they'll try. the best thing is the surrounding, near to station, near to convenience store, near to don Quixote and just walk away to "food heaven" near juso station the breakfast is good and feels like eating at home, very nice interior, although the food is some along the week but it's fine for us (even 5 star hotel would do the same I think) with the price we pay, never regret this is the best! can't say no more, satisfy to the fullest…
My family and I stayed at Hotel Sakura Suite for nearly a week of our trip and had a pleasant stay. From Juso Station (a station away or two away from Umeda via Hankyu/Hanshin Railway), the hotel is within a 5-minute walking distance. It can be a bit tricky to find it the first time (and the hotel signage was not very visible when you're looking for it from the side streets) but once you know already, you'll realize that it's actually conveniently located (very accessible too if you're going to Kyoto). There are several convenience stores and restaurants near the hotel. I really like also that there's a Don Quixote store 2 minutes away by walking. The room size (we stayed in 2 rooms with 2 single beds each) was quite good and space was ample even with big pieces of luggage. Room amenities and toiletries were complete. (Actually, only a wardrobe cabinet was lacking but there are clothes hangers/rack by the wall.) The hotel surroundings was quiet (and we were always tired from a full day out) so we never had any problems sleeping soundly. Wifi signal was also ok and we didn't experience any slow connection. It was also good that the hotel offered breakfast. Selection was ample and tasted good (just that they don't change the menu except for two items or so, that after staying there for several days, we were hoping there'd be more variety.) Check in and check out process was also very easy. The reception clerks were very helpful also whenever we requested for a taxi. If you feel a bit lazy and don't want to walk a lot and take the train, just get a taxi to Umeda, just 5-10 minutes away. That's a tip also by the way. In going back to Kansai International Airport - you can just take a cab from the hotel to Umeda where you can take the airport limousine bus. More convenient that going to the train station and walking a lot with all your luggage. For the relatively cheaper price and nice enough facilities and convenient location, I will definitely consider staying here again should our travels bring us back to Osaka.…
