This is a traditional style Japanese inn. Our host was extremely polite and helpful, and spoke English well. Our room is large enough, and has plenty of cupboard space, a large round table, two fold out futon beds with ample linen, and tea making facilities....More

Despite the thin walls, most guests seem to respect the silence of the place. Quite well located, although not in the most active part of Kyoto. Very clean, big room (Japanese-Style Economy Twin Room with Shared Bathroom). Better futons than in other places. Definitely recommended.

Absolutely wonderful! It's an old house, but with absolutely modern, even luxurious toilets and showers (with soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer under the sink), and many of them, too. The rooms are old japanese style, that means: tatami, futon and zabuton (cushions to sit on),...More
