Unexpectingly relaxing. Aiko Yuno’s room in BnA alter museum has a flashy design so it was a surprise that I had a very nice sleep. That evening I have plans of going bar hopping but instead I slept the whole night . The bed is so soft , and the design of the room has the power of reading your mind lol is like tempting you not to go outside anymore.

The rooms are awesome - it's such a special experience to stay in them. The staff are incredibly nice. The location is perfect, 5-10 min walk to Gion, next to some of the best restaurants, bars, and shops, and right between the two rivers (Kamogawa and Takase). Even if you don't stay at the hotel, I recommend to visit the bar and the coffee shop. I stayed here three times in two months, and hope to visit again!

We loved visiting Kyoto and one of the reasons we loved it is all thanks to BNA Alter Museum. This hotel really surpassed our expectations. The staff were the best, the rooms are out of this world, we felt comfortable and we didn’t even want to leave the hotel because of how great the rooms are. We stayed in two different rooms and each one of them had a different style and different vibe but we enjoyed each and every second of it, we couldn’t get enough. Not only that, you’re 10 to 15 min walking to gion district and higashiyama, and 5 min walk to a bus stop and two train stations so you couldn’t beat the location. In conclusion, if you’re ever coming to Kyoto, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting, it’s worth the money, you won’t regret it!

Excellent service, great atmosphere, and amazing room! Over all it was a great trip. Dream of a journey room 904 was beautiful and relaxing with a stellar view of the Kamogawa and the Sakura trees. Lin and Mark provided excellent service and through knowledge about the galleries and local eateries at check in and throughout the evening making it a friendly experience. 10/10 recommend staying here

Amazing hotel. Well, not in a typical Kyoto mood but still unique! Every room is a piece of art. Well, it could affect functionality but it not an issue for a leisure trip. Also - no worries, bathroom is absolutely ”normal” with a spotless clean walk-in shower and good amenities Remarkable stay, please book with no hesitation
