Room wasn't so spacious (roughly 17 sqm) but very cozy, staff were very friendly especially Ma whose doing the night shift on 13 Nov (I hope I get his name right). walking distance from Kyoto station and right across very nice curry restaurant. They have vending machine, ice machine and washing machine in property and smoking area at the lobby. Thank you for hosting e during my time in Kyoto!

This hotel is perfectly located not far from Kyoto station. The room was pleasant, bed comfortable and en-suite bathroom good. There is a coin operated laundry in the hotel for guests use Very easy to find from the station and to locate from far because you head for the Kyoto tower which you can see from miles - when you get there head for the station and you know you are very close to the hotel !! Staff very friendly and helpful There is a nice restaurant right opposite the hotel I would stay here again

This is our second time in Kyoto and so glad we stayed at Hotel M's Est Kyoto Stn South (formally Garnet). So much quieter, close to malls/eateries and an easy 3 minute walk from the train station. The room are a tad tight but generous bathroom space. Excellent customer service with free shutter to major sites.

We stay 5 nights at the Hotel Ms EST Kyoto station south formerly called the Garnet hotel. It is a new hotel walking distance from the Kyoto station/ bus terminal. A 3 star hotel, service and security is good. Main lift/ Room is access by card key only. Room is small with Full toiletries. Smooth check in and out. In fact the hotel send us a message 1 day prior to our check in ! Convenient location to visit the attractions by bus. The only set back the hotel has no restaurant.

Arrived at the Hotel early, but was allowed to store our luggage before the check-in time. A nice,cozy and clean accommodation for our 3-night stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. Located nearby to the Kyoto Station and food is easily available within walking distance. Recommended for tourists visiting Kyoto for the first time!
