Nice hotel for the Price, but could improve on cleanliness. Check in / Check out was easy, not a bad location away from the station, but not to far. Cheap and Cheerful hotel, nothing to write home about (although i am writing about it here)
Stayed here for 1 night for the England v USA Rugby World Cup match. Although the room was small and the hotel on 1st impressions a bit far out it was actually fine for the 1 night we were there. The staff were really helpful including booking taxis in the morning to the station for us. It's fine for 1 or 2 nights
Good location, close central Kobe. Rooms are small, clean, bathroom fine, shower good, bed comfortable, space in room at a premium though . Staff are excellent as was breakfast. Nice, quiet hotel at reasonable cost.
Stayed two nights we were shocked at the size of the room, this was part of a cruise deal we expected a lot more. No room to move or unpack in the room very basic amenities but we made do for 2 nights. The staff were friendly with very basic English and helped when they could. Close to transport, cafes, restaurants and shopping centres near by. Breakfast was ok but mainly catered for the Japanese, quiet , clean and safe area around hotel. Ok for a short stay.
My son and I spent here one night while visiting Kobe. The check in went pretty quickly, even if the guy did not speak very good English. Rooms were basic Japanese: small. Pillows are rather hard. The hallway smelled too much of cigarettes. The breakfast was very enjoyable. It had a wide variety of things and all tasted great. I had a great conversation with the ladies taking care of the breakfast. They were truly funny. The hotel is OK for a short stay, but I would look for other options in case I would stay longer in Kobe.
The hotel is convenient to the Sannomiya station and Portliner subway to the airport. Both are a short walk away. Staff were very hospitable, although I do speak some Japanese. I attended for a conference and it was okay for a Japanese business hotel but was not very comfortable. The main problem was that the pillows were very firm which made sleeping difficult. I do not recommend this hotel for a long stay unless you don’t have other options because of this issue.
Traditional japanese style near sannomiya station 15 min walk. Some cafes and restaurants nearby. It is very japanese style, budget friendly. more a business hotel. stayed 2 weeks nice pillows and staff try their best but no english. breakfast buffet with many choices. small rooms but clean. smokey smell in hallway
I would recommend this hotel if you are solo traveling looking for cozy-5000-yen room just nearby the Sannomiya area. It is within walking distance to the station and many kombini stores. The amenities are sufficient, the bed is comfortable and there are many other services you can find such as coin laundry and bars. Highly recommended if you like to walk :) (less than 10 minutes to Sannomiya station, 15 minutes or so to Kobe Port, couple of minutes walk to nearby Lawson or Seven-Eleven and the nearby Coco Ichibanya kare restaurant).
Located in city center and a little bit far from Sannomiya Station. The hotel in comfortable and cozy. There's but shuttle only from hotel to Sannomiya station and only runs in the morning. Bus shuttle timetable can be asked at receptionist.
All Japanese hotels are merging into one review. Unless one spends mega bucks toucan expect a very clean tiny room with limited space to even get into bed. This hotel has a reasonable location and slightly larger bathroom than usual. Ok for s couple of nights. Nothing to complain about.
