Located close to the train station and as many have indicated, right next to Chinatown (was concerned that it would be noisy but it wasn't). Actually, love the location! Love being able to stroll Chinatown before bedtime and close enough to the station that rolling our carry-ons to and from wasn't a hassle and it was walking distance to other nearby attractions. Check in at the front desk staff was efficient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the common area (they use for breakfast) for hot drinks and snacks and also to listen to vinyl!!! Really, where else but Japan would you find something like this in a hotel? misc note - one of the few hotels that loans out nail clippers. really useful at this point in our trip. Only place I've ever seen this (usually we purchase an inexpensive one on our travels)…
Nice hotel next to China town. The location is convenient, close to station and busy area, but room is quiet and I had a good rest. Breakfast is good and staff is friendly. Room is decent size. Will stay here again.
Not so expensive, ideal for a short stay in Kobe. In a central Area near China town. Not so far from Sannomiya. Rooms are small but clean. Staff are gently and corner bar is a good place to take a rest. In The afternoon is free drink bar. Enjoy!
Typical Japanese business hotel. Staffs knows very minimal English. Very near to Daimaru and Chinatown. Less than 10mins walk to subway. Plenty of convenience stalls around if you need to grab some foods or daily necessity. Have a nice lounge area that doubles up as breakfast area in the morning.
Fantastic location near Motomachi train station, Chinatown, the Motomachi mall, tons of restaurants and a few short blocks from the waterfront, Meriken Park. The rooms are very small, so spent a lot of time in the lobby. Music issue: jazz is piped in all over the hotel (great, love it,) but in the lobby, at least during our stay, they play secondary music at the same time, forcing your ears to choose from two songs at the same time. The hotel has a wonderful selection of vinyl albums to listen to--on HEADPHONES, but staff also played Adele and others on the speakers, while Wes Montgomery and others were playing on the piped in selections. My wish--play one or the other, please. But not both at the same time.
Stayed two nights. Had booked a superior room for circa £100 per night. Not sure what the difference is with superior, size? Decent sized room for Japan although bed was up against the wall. WiFi worked well. Large bathroom (not the norm in Japan) with a shower which could squirt water from all angles. Nice touch was a built-in usb charger with multiple heads. Reception is on the second floor. Pleasant lounge with free tea and coffee from 3pm. Music listening area with real records! Staff all very friendly. A short walk from all the happening stuff! Would recommend unreservedly.
Great location about 10 minute walk from the train station. Also close to the Japanese type cuisine places as well as McDonald’s and Burger King. Large, clean rooms with friendly staff - very easy to check in etc too. Staff don’t necessarily speak English (again for info, I’m not saying they should).
We stayed here for two nights.check in was easy, the room was clean and with enough space. Breakfast with a great selection of food. Great Idee, there were Record Players with a good selection of vinyls
It's my second time staying in this hotel when i visited Kobe. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the train station, and you can find great restaurants or cafe and shops nearby. The room is clean and tidy. As compared with the rooms of other business hotels in other Japan cities, the size of the room could be considered as relatively spacious. The staff are very nice, and you can communicate with them using English. The hotel has eco-friendly program which encourages customers using fewer disposable amenities and allows customers to choose not to change the sheet and/or the towels on a daily basis.
Good location, easy to get to the quays and located near china town and lots of high end shops. Easy to get to the Sannomiya train stop. Great staff, very helpful. Free coffee in the afternoon. Clean and modern rooms. Loved the hotel and love Kobe.
