260 Usd i pay for this place for 1 night. It should be 75 maximum. The bath is installed wrongly and the faucet worse. The towels are ancient, the room table making an effort not to collapse. Every piece of furniture is chipped. Some reinforced with transparent tape. The tv in such a position you can’t watch it from bed, the bed more like a cart board surfboard than a bed. I must admire the courage from “ management” to ask this kind of money. So, i anm more amused than angry. Live hotels are better than this. To only thing Royal about this hotel is the price.

This hotel provides great views and has an excellent location. Service is also excellent, food is excellent. My criticisms are there are no microwaves and parking is an absolute nightmare. We wanted to heat up baby food and sometimes bring in outside food but nothing to heat it up with. The hotel shares a parking lot with a very busy mall that is connected to the building. If you drive be prepared to wait anywhere from 5-30 mins to park your car and they have a very inconvenient system of constantly having to bother the staff to provide parking tickets for free parking. Other than that it’s a great hotel and worth the money.

The location is excellent — 10-15 minutes on foot from the A-Bomb Dome, the Peace Museum, the restored Castle, the Art Museum, the main retail area (the hotel is attached to Sogo Department Store and the Central Bus Terminal and live houses. It is a solid four star level hotel. Great views from the upper floors. The bubble era practice is the add-on for using the gym and the pool.* I cannot remember the last time I was in a hotel in North America or Asia that charged for using either. But this would have set us back more than half of the room charge if we all used it. But we didn’t have to confront the issue because it didn’t even open until 10am. Both tourists and business travelers want to use sports facilities early in the morning and then get on with the day. 10am is too late. 6am? 7am at the latest. * The hotel charges extra for many things — we must be living a luxurious lifestyle!

Booked interconnecting rooms which enjoyed amazing views of the peace park. The rooms were really spacious and the hotel was full of sumo wrestlers which we thought was brilliant. The bar was very quiet and slightly weird but we could never tell whether that’s just our western sensibilities or not.

This hotel was excellent with a great location. The concierge (Harriet) was a great help in booking restaurants. She even provided us with an English translated menu! We would definitely stay there again.

As tourists, this was the perfect hotel for us, our room was upgraded (which is always appreciated), we had a view of the A Bomb Dome. The views and the breakfasts from the Rhiga Top restaurant were lovely, the buffet breakfast in the Luore 1st floor restaurant was a great mix of food styles which was very good as well. The only criticism was the food in the Dining bar on the 33rd floor in the evening after a long days travel was not up to the excellent standard set by the Rhiga Top breakfasts or the Luove offerings. We walked to the Peace park & Museum and caught the tram just around the corner from the hotel to Mirajima for the Oyster festival. We would certainly use this hotel again.

This is a great stay in Hiroshima. We couldn’t fault the service, amazing views, or quality breakfast. I do think it’s unfortunate that they do not include access to the gym and pool as part of the tariff, which they clearly advertise as an amenity in their marketing photos and descriptions. I’ve never stayed in a hotel before where they charge for access to an amenity like a pool or gym that is already part of the property. What’s more, the fee for access is ridiculous, even with a 50% off coupon that you receive upon check-in. It was over $40 AUD to access the gym and pool. Feels like money gouging, totally unnecessary, and left a bad taste as a guest. At any rate, there are many great public baths you can visit in Japan for about ¥400 but this hotel would significantly improve the guest experience if they gave up on charging for an amenity that is included in the tariff for other hotels.

Excellent hotel located right in the heart of Hiroshima city overlooking almost whole Hiroshima area, especially closest area including UNESCO World Heritage Site - Hiroshima Peace Memorial with well-known Atomic Bomb Dome. We (two adults, two children) have been accomodated in a spacious room with wonderful view over the part of Hiroshima, including Hiroshima Castle, Yūka-en, Central Park etc. The room was really comfortable. Besides that wi-fi connection was good and buffet-style breakfast with wide choice of dishes was excellent as well.

I selected this hotel for its central location and I booked in via Chase Ultimate Rewards. It is next to the Hiroshima Bus Center (which is one of the several major stops for the airport bus), and about 5-10 minute walk to the A Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park. It is also connected to a SOGO department store (with many restaurants). I had a room with two twin beds - it seemed a bit dated but was otherwise very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I received a discount ticket for the breakfast. Although i did not eat breakfast at the hotel, it did look quite good. Tip: there is a small public lobby on the top floor of the hotel (accessible via a dedicated elevator) which offered an excellent panoramic view of the city - it is worth stopping by.

We were visiting on a family holiday. In a great location for walking to the A Bomb sites and the Hiroshima Castle. The hotel appears to be more a business person's hotel rather than one suited to a family holiday. Very quiet which is a good thing but sky top bar smells of smoke and is very 'business like'. Hotel is quite formal (more so than many other Japanese hotels) and feels like a bit of throwback to the 1980s. It needs new furniture, a facelift and a general modernisation. There is apparently some renovation work going on but we didn't see any.
