The main draw to this hotel was the price and location. The Nest Hotel was under fifty bucks a night and was right by Hondori St. I walked here from the train station, had no issues and check in was simple. Normally, they have breakfast but because of COVID this year there was none. There is a Mister Donut around the corner. The rooms were great, they were big enough and had modern touches. The rooms were typical modern Japanese style with a great bathroom. I found the bed and pillows to be very comfortable. The hotel was clean and quiet. Overall, great stay and I would stay here again!
The Nest Hotel in Hiroshima Hatchobori is very well located and suited for a base location to explore this cool city. We loved the cozyness of the little, well-planned room and really felt like staying in a comfortable little nest. There was enough room for us sleep in and feel comfortable, don't expect too much, it's definitely a Japanese standard when it comes to room-size. The only REALLY disappointing aspect was the free breakfast option, which was so terrible I wouldn't even take it for free. I'd rather have them cancel it and put a bottle of water in the rooms. Other than that a very recommendable stay!
Nice new hotel with very friendly staff. The room had all we needed and was a reasonable size. Included in the (reasonable) price was a simple breakfast. Good facilities overall and a great base for a visit to Hiroshima.
friendly mother daughter duo behind desk with great English and suggestion for dinner. thoughtfully laid out room. it's japan--so it's small.get over yourself and enjoy the comfort, pajamas and welcoming breakfast. within walking distance of station and longer walk to A dome
The Nest Hotel offers clean comfortable accommodations in a convenient location. As other travellers have mentioned the rooms are on the small side as is common throughout Japan. Despite their size, the rooms are spotless with an acceptable selection of toiletries/ammenities including complimentary pyjamas. We found the bed to be comfortable and had a great sleep while still fighting off jet lag. The location of the hotel cannot be beat. A nice walk or short taxi ride away from Hiroshima Station, trams just outside at street level and approximately a block from the subway. During our stay we walked to Hiroshima castle, peace memorial park and the atomic bomb dome- all only a short distance from the hotel (15-20 minutes walking). There are also numerous shops and restaurants across the road and surrounding the hotel. If you dont mind a 'cozy' space, then The Nest is an excellent choice for a stay in Hiroshima.…
