I have stayed in many backpackers hostel and Jimmy's place is easily the top three on my list. It's clean, tidy and cozy. It's located in a quiet neighbourhood, but not far from downtown (just 2-3km from Odori Park and JR Sapporo station). Breakfast is not provided, but there's a small kitchen with free supply or free and tea. The... More

The place is really great to stay, small but extremely neat and well organized. Also has free coffee and tea. Jimmy is a great host and speaks fluent English. He was very helpful in helping me plan my Hokkaido trip.

If you're planning to book a mixed dormitory, BEWARE...you never know who you're sleeping next to. My family of 4 had to share with 2 snorers for 2 nights. It sure wasn't pleasant! This place is clean but very old and small. If you've a rented car, don't expect free parking at this facility because there's none. You'll have to... More

We stayed here for one night in lady dorm. Jimmy is very nice and speak english well. The place is far from hutsui susukino exit 5 only 500 metres. If you have large luggages, i suggest you use exit 6 where you can use elevator. Dorm have no fan and a/c but the weather is quite cool. We can walk... More

Location. Not far from subway and you can walk to susukino even odori park. Well...I did. :) Clean and comfy bed. Warm bedding. It's such a small house but had no problem with staying. Jimmy is so friendly, thoughful and speacks good English. You won't be able to find any better with this price.

Stayed twice at Jimmyz because it's a very clean & comfortable hostel in a quiet but convenient neighbourhood - only 2 subway stops from Sapporo station and then an 8-min walk along a straight road will lead you to the hostel. Owner Jimmy is extremely helpful and friendly - he didn't only offer you a map but also marked good... More

Our first time to Sapporo, the direction given on jimmzy website was easy to follow! However, if you have luggage, the exit 5 (was all staircase) would be a little difficult. Jimmzy owns the place and does all the cleaning himself. It was a small and cozy BP. 2 rooms with 1 mixed (6beds) and 1 female (4beds). The bed... More

Had a wonderful time in Sapporo staying at Jimmyz. Jimmy owns and takes great care of the entire place which offers both mixed and single-gender rooms. Cozy, clean and fun place to stay. accommodating about 10 places, making it a great place to get to know everyone in the guesthouse. Highly recommended.

“We were 7 ladies traveling together in a group. So Jimmy recommended that we occupied the Mixed Dorm (6 beds) and one girl slept in the Women's Dorm (4 beds), so the whole house were occupied by only ladies. That worked out quite nicely.”
